Can you be zapped to a skin you've already earned?

For the past two times in a row, I've just gotten a skin I already had, so essentially I didn't get a new skin. (When I had every time I got zapped previously.) I wanted to check if this was normal before I made a thread in the Bugs. If it's a possibility, then nvm! After getting a bunch of new ones I just assumed that you didn't get zapped into something you had already.

Yes, you can get the same skin multiple times, sometimes the same skin twice in a row if you're unlucky.

When you don't have many of them, it's easier to get new ones every time. As you start getting more and more of them though, you'll tend to get more repeats.

Is there a trick to getting any new skins? Out of 10 times or more, lost count. I've only received skins I already have and I still need around 43 or so yet. :( If it's just luck then I need to find some good luck, fast. :)

For now, it's just random and luck. There may be a way to get better chances at a new skin later in the event, but we'll have to see.

I think it's luck. Try putting on a different skin and see if that matters?

Also, in case you didn't know, but part of the skins are zapper skins, and part of them are zombie strains (from Survival). It gets confusing because they're all piled into one big list in the wardrobe, so some of the skins you can't even get now with the zapper. I constantly have to check if it's one I have already or not. I FINALLY got the nebula skin, after dozens and dozens of repeats. It gets difficult if you're only after 3 skins. Well, now still 2 (peacock experiment and woad are haunting me forever).
