Is this already a topic? I couldn't find one! :v
What are you doing for Halloween this year? 🎃
My ex bf and I are taking his kids trick or treating again this year. I'm so excited. Aside from his oldest son, this will be their second time going trick or treating.
As for my costume, I think I'm going to be a 'modern' vampire with some inspiration from Lost Boys. I'll hopefully update with a picture once it's finished. It was either that or just a classic witch (sans green skin), or the devil inspired by The Twilight Zone (epsiode: Escape Clause). I'll probably do the devil next year when I have more time to make the accessories. This is the costume I quickly threw together last year, lol and this is a close up of the face... although I was trying to get a better shot of the horns I made. I already had the wings from a renaissance festival I went to years ago and made the horns from polymer clay and little hair combs.
Your costume last year looks fantastic! The horns are awesome. :D
I don't have any pictures but I'm planning on being a unicorn for Halloween lol I bought a rainbow unicorn onesie at the mall last week as well as unicorn socks (with a 3D horn!) from Walmart. I'm gonna do some sparkly makeup to go along with it. :)
My girlfriend and our friends are having a Halloween party next week plus we might be getting together on Halloween too, though they just suddenly got the day off and we'd planned the party a long time ago. We're gonna play games and watch some lite Halloween movies like Nightmare Before Christmas and I think Halloweentown.
Haven't decided what I'm wearing yet, but my cosplay group has volunteered for a Trunk or Treat at a local church so that's what I'll be doing. Last year we got free pizza and drinks so I'm pretty stoked on it. B)
I'll likely either be Rey from Star Wars or Elsa from Frozen, depending on whether or not I find time to modify my Elsa dress between now and then, which isn't likely. haha
Error 404: costume not found.
I wanted to hand out candy and such this year but financial situation and a flat tire said no.

Your costume from last year looks great! Also, awesome idea to make a Lost Boys-influenced vampire costume for this year, that movie has a special place in my heart; I at least watched it a hundred times I believe.
I don't have a costume because Halloween is barely celebrated here and the Halloween parties we have are just pathetic.
Work is having a Halloween party on the 26th, I'm doing a couple's costume with my stuffed tmnt Raphael as Starfleet medical officers. (There's an action figure of it from the original toys, and I made a Build a Bear like it, and everyone in my immediate area knows I'm a tmnt nerd.) I have the same shirt, a hoodie, and black pants anyway.
I'm going to take my kids trick or treating up and down the block. Then we're going to come home and probably have pizza or something. They're only 5 and 3 so we won't be out late.
I don't dress up for Halloween anymore. I'm an introvert and I'm really not into social events, plus, I don't have any friends lol. I decided to stop dressing up three years ago because plus sized costumes are hard to find and they're expensive, not to mention I can't find anything that I like (all the cool stuff is for the small girls D: )
I don't have any plans this year, but if I did I'd love to be my own take on a mad hatter. :> At this point I'm probably more likely to dress up the dogs this year than myself. Haha.

I live in New York City at the moment, and NYC has a Halloween parade so I might go to that. I actually have no clue at the moment what I'm doing for Halloween, but that's it mostly.
My friend from Neopets is having a party that I might go to. I'm gonna go as a unicorn probably. On Halloween itself I have a facepainting/SFX job, where I'm supposed to do 4 full zombies from the company I work for, and a number of lesser zombies who are employees at a supermarket in a popular mall. It's gonna be a huge challenge, partly because I am unaware of what materials I'll have on hand, but I hope I can pull it off if I prep some faces in advance.
I'm going to be going to Jakarta, Indonesia for work over this Halloween. D: So sadly, nothing of the spooky sort, but lots of nasi goreng, rendang, and satay to go around!
Thank you! Your costume sounds cozy! C8 I hope I'll find Hocus Pocus on tv soon. It's one of my favorite movies hehe
Free pizza, heeeellll yeah. <3 I don't really like trunk or treats, but the pizza kinda makes up for it I guess haha
I'm sure I would have been stuck working as well if I hadn't requested off way in advance lol. I feel your pain. I hope you get to enjoy Halloween though, whatever you end up doing! Even if it's having some time to relax after work!
Aww, sorry you've got some struggles right now. Hope it works out soon. Some years I just do some crazy Halloween makeup and sit on the couch and watch movies/ghost shows lol
Thank you! ^^ Dang, that sucks. Halloween is my favorite time of year!
I wish my work would have Halloween parties D': lol. Nice Freddy Krueger HA, btw
Totally understandable! I used to be really introverted myself. I hope you have a relaxing Halloween anyway! And I wish they made better plus sized costumes, too. My cousin has the same struggle when looking for a costume. One year we could only find some lame border patrol and something else I can't remember in the plus sized section. But I think it's a lot more fun to put a costume together yourself. That way, if you did decide to dress up sometime, you can already use clothes you know will fit you nicely and I'm sure will be of much better quality than costume fabric.
That sounds awesome. I really love AiW character costumes for some reason. I was Alice years ago when I was a teenager. I joked about being a douche-y version of the hookah smoking caterpillar this year with my little vape thingy haha
Eeep omg I would love to see a Halloween parade! That sounds so fun. I'll have to look up pictures!
I love FX makeup! I've dabbled in it myself, but not a professional by any means. That sounds like it'll be a looot of work. I think I'd be too tired to do anything after lol x__x
Hope you have a safe trip! I'm sure you'll be in the states (if that's where you're from?) in Halloween spirit haha
I love Alice costumes. I don't think I can pull one off, but I admire them.

Haha, I don't really like them either, but for this event we mainly stay inside an auditorium area where they have backdrops set up for participants to come through and take pics with our characters.
Btw, your hair was so cute in those pics from last year. I wish I could pull off that style but I can never quite get it right. lol
Gotta be a pink candy zombie, lol. We're actually going to be a zombie couple with my boyfriend. I'm not a huge fan of zombies, but there will be a zombie walk in our local park and we are going so... No choice.
Thanks! It's p.basic party, people get to dress up, there's a costume contest, and people can have their kids "trick or treat" if anyone wants to bring in candy. (It's mostly highschoolers and college kids, so most people who work here don't have kids?)
Thank you! ^^ Unfortunately my hair is way too long again to do that kind of style anymore. It's too much of a hassle and I know attempting to do that again would irritate me lol
Oh that sounds cool! I hope you'll be able to share a picture of your costume(s)! I've heard of the zombie walks before and I've always wanted to go to one! I wonder if they have one in my area and I just never knew lol
Aw that's fun! I've always wanted to enter a costume contest, but then I'm conflicted because I feel like I'm trying to show off and that makes me feel bad/concieted. Probably only in my head xP ahaha Hope you win it though! C:
