Bio: Zala was born to a young muggle couple who weren't able to take care of her. She was left at an orphanage when she was just 2 months old. Her time at the orphanage wasn't particularly nice and as a determined 4-year-old she left one afternoon and wandered the streets of Athens. Nights could get quite cold, but with her magic, she managed to stay quite warm. She was found by a traveling wizard who was in search of merpeople staying briefly in Athens. The Grecian wizard took her in and when asking for her name she said Zala instead of her actual name Zara, the R not being pronounced right. The name stuck and Zala was soon officially adopted. Nikolas Tulasi is currently working as a Marine Magizoologist affiliated with the Alexandrian Academy.
Goals: Brewing better medicinal potions, growing and cultivating the largest botanical garden in Europe, discovering herbs with magical properties.

Favorite Book: Too many to count. Lenore learned a charm to shrink her library shelf and carry it around in her bag just because of this. The works of a muggle named Poe became part of her otherwise all-wizarding collection after she learned that her name came from a Poem written by him.

Favorite Prank/Joke: Although witty, she's not much of a joker. She prefers to watch others pull the pranks.
Appearance: Lenore is only 4'11" with a petite frame. She has blonde hair with just a bit of wave to it, pale skin and grey eyes. She has a naturally kind face which she tries to harden a bit with eye makeup.
Personality: An introvert with a strong moral code of her own design - not the morals placed on her by society. She prefers to be quiet and often appears to be lost in her own thoughts but pays a lot more attention than people think. She is a free thinker and hates to do things simply because they are expected. Heavily influenced by the aesthetic, she often sits in odd places wherever she is, ie: window ledges, floor corners, treetops or inside cabinets. She is independent and confident in herself but not especially good with crowds as she finds too many voices in one conversation to be pointless and distracting. Lenore is the kind who will solve problems in her own unique ways without a second (or even first) thought to what others might think.
Bio: Lenore grew up in the Wizarding village of Baron's Hollow in Scotland after moving there from London at a young age. Her father is heavily involved in the dark arts and one of her uncles was a known Death Eater. Her own feeling toward the dark arts is that they are useful for study but not to be used without need. All magic is connected and the shadow is just as necessary as the light.
Lenore has had little interaction with Muggles, mostly due to her father's hatred of them. What little she knows about them she learned through her mother who takes a kinder view and named her after a favorite Muggle poem, The Raven, by Edgar Allan Poe (a fact still unknown to her father). After having arrived at Hogwarts, Lenore has come to know wizards and witches of various parentage and is struggling within herself to find her own opinion about blood status. She is still very proud to be a pure-blood.
Academically, Lenore is very talented and excels in nearly everything involving innate magical skill, however subjects such as Herbology and Astronomy which have little to do with actually performing magic come much harder to her.

Corvus values traditions, rules and standards. He's not swayed from his beliefs and it's difficult to persuade him to anything he may not like. When it comes to work and achievements, he strives for perfection. He hates inefficient plans and people. He prefers a clean environment and sets high standards, even for others. Corvus is very analyzing and gets things done on time. He has a sharp, fact-based mind and prefers autonomy. He doesn't like to be dependent on others and considers teamwork as a sign of weakness and full of chaos.
Corvus prefers not to interact much. In general, he thinks of others as annoying and rather reads a good book than attending a social gathering (unless it involves advancement in his career or meeting important people). He's sophisticated and well-educated; to a certain amount polite and calm. Being a quiet, analyzing person, people may consider him as cold-hearted. Furthermore, he's unpredictable and has little interest in others. He doesn't care about gossip and remembers everything what happens to him really well. He's very determined and won't accept a second place easily. Once he trusts a person, he's loyal and even pleasant company.
There are times when he needs to take a break because he tends to forget that he's not a machine. His stubborn dedication when it comes to learning drains him from time to time. Bio: Corvus' parents moved to Oregon, USA, before he was even born. They lived in Scotland for generations, which is why he has a traditional Scottish middle name. Due to that, the family has many contacts in the UK. He was 7 years old when he got - traditional for pure-bloods - betrothed to Elizabeth Amalia Covington, the daughter of his father's best friend. Although he and Elizabeth only see each other rarely due to their magical education and the great distance, they keep in touch by letters. They visit each other with their families every year though.
Corvus' childhood was more British than American and he doesn't feel comfortable with American life. He got a letter from Ilvermorny and was sorted into Horned Serpent - a fact he really likes and takes pride in it.
Corvus is not somebody with many friends - first; it's because of Rappaport's Law(his parents kinda still stick to it because the MACUSA is kinda strict), second because of the lack of other magical children in his hometown and third because he doesn't do well with others. He has a few acquaintances at Ilvermorny, but doesn't consider them as friends. Goals: Having an interesting, well-paying job ; going back to the UK
