My husband and I got married this past Saturday, September 30th, and I couldn't have asked for a better day! We got sooo lucky with the weather. It had been in the mid-80's recently, but the weather dropped to the low 70's and there wasn't a cloud in the sky! We had an outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception, but guests had the option to still go outside under the gazebo if they wished. My husband is not emotional at all, but he was tearing up when he first saw me walk down the aisle. He said he was sooo close to flat-out crying haha. I also surprised him with a letter for him to read while he was getting ready, and he said he teared up by that as well. (I hid it in his glove box of his car and told the best man to have him read it when he got to the venue, buuuuut my husband read it immediately instead haha).

We've been together for 4.5 years, engaged for 1.5, and now married for a couple days! Everybody has been telling us that they had a great time, loved the food, the officiant, DJ, just about everything! Wedding planning was exhausting but it all ended up being worth it.

Oh that's wonderful, congrats! And I am sure of it. We are looking forward to what the future holds! We're also the first among our friend circle to get married, so it'll be nice to sit back and be the guest at our friends' upcoming weddings, haha. And to provide advice when they need it.

Ahhhh congrats! I don't even want to think about wedding planning! My bf (I'm now calling him my "post-bf") and I just got engaged on Tuesday!

Ahh congrats on your engagement! It took a while to call him my fiance and then the same thing for husband, so I know exactly how weird it is to give your significant other a new label like that! The day after we got married, we literally walked around the house saying "Hi Husband." "Hi Wife." and then giggle over how weird it is to say now.

It took us a couple months, from start to finish, to find and close on our home. That was earlier this year and the housing market was pretty blah at the time (still kind of is honestly). I was so glad we did that before the wedding because it would've been stressful to be on the last homestretch of wedding planning while looking for a home at the same time. So I totally understand!
