Now the deadlist mass shooting. It took...what a little over a year to break it?

Truly sickening how easy was for him to plan and carry all this out, just to get away with it through killing himself.
Every time I look it's updated. As I began my long commute it was at least 20 dead and 100 injured. By the time I parked at work it was at least 50 and at least 200. Half day today so 4 hours later it was 58 and 515
I am horrified and angry and very very sad. :'(
America, WTF is wrong with you!?!?

No words...

this makes me sad and per usual people already trying to spin this instead of mourning the loss of these american citizens.

Terrible. Feels like the world is really going off the rails lately.
We're at the 20 hour mark. count is up to 59 dead and 527 injured.
Blood services are no longer accepting blood donations today. Safe zones and hospitals have also exceed their donation levels for the day. GoFundMe has raised over $2 million for victims. The area is still a heavy crime scene and will be for some time. No news on his motives, however they've recovered 22 guns from his hotel room, and 19 guns from his Mequite home. He has another home in Reno that has yet to be searched. They believe there may have been explosive devices in his home and the hotel floor was rigged with booby traps and cameras. He took his time to set up for this, he checked in to the hotel on the 28th and waited until the height of the event on the last day to make his move.
This is my home, and its been a harrowing day. I didn't know people at the event, but friends, coworkers and family have friends and family that were victims of this massacre.
You're in NV? I'm glad you're okay... this whole thing is horrible...

I’ve lived in Las Vegas for the past 24 years. In my time here we’ve never had an incident like this, it’s definitely scary to know that it can happen here and now that it has, I’m disgusted, sad and I’ve been sick to my stomach all day.
It's heartbreaking to see this. ;; I hope Congress finally get off their bums to do something about gun legislation fffs freaking ridiculous. It makes me feel like if it couldn't happen for children (Sandy Hooks), it ain't gonna happen here, who are we kidding? ==
RIP, victims. ;__;
How could this man do such a bloody horrible thing!? And why did Trump abolish the law forbidding mentally ill people from purchasing or owning weapons!?!?!? And just like mentioned on her post - why is it that is perfectly legal to own weapons in the US but somehow Kinder Surprise is banned!? WHO THE BLOODY HELL MAKES THE LAWS IN THAT COUNTRY!?!?!!?!!? 😡
If the investigators can't find some kind of diary or manifesto or such, we may never know his reasoning. You are aware by now that it was the bump stock that allowed such rapid fire? And that it was under Obama that the bump stock was judged to be legal? And that the particular ruling you're mentioning is supported by the National Rifle Association and the American Civil Liberties Union, who rarely agree on gun control issues? Guns are legal to own because of the Second Amendment, while Kinder Surprise is banned because it's considered a possible choking hazard. Finally, Americans make the laws here in America.

What happened in Vegas is just heartbreaking. I had a hard time getting ready for work the morning following the shooting. I had to stop to cry every 10 or so minutes :/
And to the people wondering why Americans are allowed to own firearms, the second amendment was written to give us the right to protect ourselves against tyranny. Unfortunately making gun laws more strict isn't the answer. The majority of shootings aren't carried out by semi-automatic rifles, and law abiding gun owners are not the problem. There needs to be better screening for mental health. Both sides of the political spectrum can agree on that. But even if bump stocks are made illegal (which they should be anyway since they can modify rifles to fire similar to fully automatic firearms that have been outlawed here since the 80's), the problem is that you can still modify a rifle to fire that way. I know somebody that did it to one of his own guns several years ago. Regardless of all that though, I think this should be a time that brings our country together and we shouldn't try to pass any laws written in the heat of the moment. It takes time and should be well thought out. To make this into anything political right now (not referring to anybody on this thread or site), just rubs me the wrong way. The families, friends, and the entire country are grieving right now.
