So for the first time ever I decided to try out a subscription! I decided to go with the yearly plus 1000 csc a month.

So from reading this and knowing it's a subscription, (something that renews), you would think that this means you would receive your 1000 csc once a month. (I assumed today for the first month and the first of the month each month following or 30 days after because that would make sense.) But for some reason when you buy a year subscription it gives you all 12 months worth of csc at once.

I'm happy to have the GA but I wouldn't have done this if I'd known that you get the yearly csc in one chunk. I sometimes like to buy csc during the monthly sale for the item that comes with it but with this much csc on hand right away, that means I'll be buying csc that I don't need long before I'll be buying it before I do need it. I thought I'd be getting it once a month.

I'd like for the wording on the page to be changed. Technically this isn't what I thought I was signing up for considering how the page is set up and the wording. It's kinda a bummer after I was so excited to try it. But maybe it can be worded differently so that it's more clear so that it doesn't happen to someone else.

I don't think it should say 1000 csc a month if it's not. It should say 12000 csc immediately with yearly subscription. (or something like that)

It makes me wonder how the rest are divied out as well. Maybe the whole thing should be changed so that it says what you actually get and when. :) I know it would have changed what I got! I mean it's fine, but dang, not doing it like this again that's for sure.

Oh wow, I didn't realize that was what happened. :0 Yeah, the wording should change then. I assumed you would be getting csc spaced out monthly. I mean spacing things out would be much better for some people like me who are more impulsive with their buying.

yeah it's really misleading, i only did the subscription thing once and was shocked when i got all the csc at once. i mean it makes sense that it is the way it is - considering you're paying the term fee up front you should receive what you bought up front as well, otherwise you might have to cancel your subscription partway through and the site would have taken your money without giving you the entirety of what you actually bought. it's definitely not evident in how the page explains it, though.

(pro tip though, it's actually cheaper to just manually buy CSC with cash on a non-subscription basis, then buy a yearly GA with that purchased CSC; you get more bang for your buck due to the way cash shop bonuses work, and the fact that GA medals get discounted a few days before your current one expires.)

@ Frenchi that's true and after the fact I considered it the reason they gave all the csc up front. I hope they change the wording to reflect that. And yeah, major regrets, since I thought I'd still want to be buying the bonuses since the monthly csc what I thought would be the monthly csc is less then what I usually spend anyways. Though thanks for the tip, I didn't know the GA medals were discounted before they expired. Does it say that anywhere? Hey, that's another good suggestion, put that on the pop up that tells you it's expiring so you have more incentive to get another one. :) Good to know!

I think it's seriously uncool that it works the way that it does instead of how I also thought it would. It's a punishment for those who love the site. Maybe this whole page was created before Subeta started putting CSC on sale on a regular basis so it still seemed awesome when it was made? Anyhow, it's seriously unfortunate now.

Subeta shouldn't make it hard for people to want to give it money.

Maybe an option to redeem all as well? It defaults with it giving 1000 a month (like how a subscription suggests, and I agree it should be reworded because losing those bonuses stinks), with the usual monthly bonuses applied, but at any time during the subscription amount, you can press a button to "Redeem Remaining CSC" in one go, no bonuses applied (and the button warns you like "If you redeem your CSC as a lump sum, you will not receive any bonuses" or something).
