If your deets aren't public on your profile - how long have you been playing Subeta? Looks like 6 years, though I admit to having a long hiatus during that time.
Your Idea For / Plans for this pet - Petronella is a bit of a liar. Well, she just like embellishing the truth, since the truth is so boring and needs a bit of help. She's a bit self centered, but isn't mean or cruel. She just seems to think about herself first and foremost. She cares about what everyone thinks, so will invent stories about herself to help fit in. (However, she doesn't have any 'real' friends due to this tendency).
Till one day she is cursed by a snow fairy (curse provided by E.D. Baker's Dragon Breath): Let the truth be known to all. No more tales- short or tall. May the words we need to hear Pass from your lips to waiting ear. From this day on, the truth you'll tell. There's just one way to break the spell. Three selfless acts you must peform To aid a stranger who's forlorn.
However, Petronella is too proud to help anyone in her village. She just can't face all the teasing and ridicule once her lies are found out. So Petronella will have to travel far and wide. However, she soons learn helping others with the desire to break the curse doesn't count at all. Petronella will have to help others out simply to make their lives better.
I haven't fleshed out all the small details yet, but that it's the outline. I think it's a fun curse and idea. It'd be interesting to see where Petronella goes.

I majored in history, and I joke that I received a minor in fairy tales. (It was actually children's literature, with electives in Russian, German, and British fairy tales... yes those were legitimate college classes. :P )
She would clearly be a pet focused on fairy tales, with an expansive TC to showcase it. That's kind of how I rock my pets. I don't RP with them or have expansive pet stories, but they each have a "theme" and I try and build their TCs based on that. :)
I have been a member for 9 years, 7 months, 4 weeks, according to the Dashboard. My showcase pets right now are Elspeth and Histoire. They are the two with the largest TCs, although nearly all of my pets have a TC of some sort! :)
