In deciding to try and get more raffle tickets, I've also started paying more attention to my point count. But because I don't have much reason to be on a lot of other forums, I've also spent a lot of time in chit-chat.
It appears that my forum post count hasn't increased at all since I started paying attention a week or two ago. I'm concerned that my achievement counter just isn't updating correctly at all because it's not like I've ONLY posted in chit-chat - there's been a small handful here, in Help & Questions, or whatever forum people do giveaways from getting tagged, that sort of thing, but...I know that sometimes some forums don't count posts, like some holiday threads, is chit-chat one of those forums where they don't count the posts? (which would suck imo but I guess I also get it.)
Also as to the no seriously it's been the same number since posting in ANY forum...maybe is that a bug I should report or? (I always hesitate to say "Bug!" becasue half the time I'm just incompetent : P but I did notice in the bug forum that there are some other achievement counting issues that seem to be affecting some people that I know are not affecting me so maybe? Didn't see one about forum post counts.)

I think the topics in sub-forum User Run Games of Chit Chat don't increment post count. Most other places do.
Also it takes a couple minutes for the count to change in the username hover, if that's where you're seeing your post count
As mentioned, they do take time to update on the hover, and posts in User Run Games do not increase the count. I believe they also don't increase in Welcomes & Introductions, nor does creating a new topic.
The main forum in Chit-Chat should increase it, though.
I would suggest making a post, waiting a few mins, and then checking if it updated.
I figured originally it might be a cache thing - but I was checking from the achievement page and it hadn't changed at all across several days. (I'd forgotten you can also see from username hover.)
That said, after hovering over my username and then checking the achievement page just now, it has DEFINITELY changed so idk maybe it was just taking longer to update for me than it normally does. Glad there's no bug.
^_^ Thanks for confirming which things do and do not count towards the post count!
