Long story:

Two of my near and dear friends are going to Disney World in Orlando starting today (they're driving down) and these are the same friends I went and met up with back in March. It's not even the fact that I wanted to go along, it's just I would have liked to have had the option. Which brings me to my next screech worthy moment of I'm not exactly flush with money at the moment.

Which leads me to another screech worthy moment of I need to get new glasses, I spent all of last month (August) trying to find a pair of frames that fit me and no such luck, so I have to go down to Frederick, Maryland... which has gnarly traffic so Dad offered to take me down but that makes me dependent on someone else and I just... clenches fist

And last but not least, I put my FAFSA for college in but it has to be done for that year so since I applied in 2017 and planned to go to college in 2018, it didn't go through.

Bonus points: friend has been bugging me to play Destiny 2 with her, right? She abandoned me not once, not twice but three times the last time we played together.

TL;DR - I have 99 problems and money would solve 98 of them.

As for your glasses, what about getting them online? They are mostly cheaper than getting them in specialized stores that just rip you off of all your cash so you can pay a pair of frame $100+ when they are directly from China. (tips coming from a small bean wearing glasses since being 1 year old).

What do you mean by that? I know some of them will not make progressive lenses but I'm not positive.

You may have to search online and contact them yourself to ask about it. Per instance, I use a company called "BonLook" and they use Crysal lenses (good brand) for their lenses. The frame is made by them.

I feel you on the lack-of-money thing. It seems like I'm just getting ahead and then both cats need the vet at the same time so there goes all my money. I would be so pissed about the Disney thing though, omg. I love that place so much and if someone deprived me of a chance to go, I'd probably rip them a new one. I would love to play Destiny 2 with you though! But I don't have the what's-it-called...membership online thing where you can talk to people (again with the being broke thing ugh).
