HELLO ALL. I’m back from holiday, which was very enjoyable even though I still managed to work some (which quite a few users yelled at me about). is taking this week off from our sprint after doing an amazing job the past two. Next week, we’ll both be back doing things!
THIS WEEK
This week I’m focusing on all the reports users have submitted for items and pages around site (the form for these can be found HERE). If you find a spelling or grammar error on an item or page around site, please use one of these forms. and I have a widget so we can see right when these reports come in, instead of trying to find user threads about spelling/grammar issues.
You can submit a form about the smallest thing (like a stray quotation mark or apostrophe) or large (like rewriting an entire paragraph that previously made little sense). Just be as clear as possible as to what you think needs to be updated and where.
If what you’re submitting is about a random event, just link the news page for subeta and use the corrections box to talk about the random event!
For those curious, I updated about 40 pages and 45 items (more to update still!).
Oh, thank you for making updates and always keeping us in the loop! This is actually one of my more favorite parts about Subeta. <3 Thank you so much for doing this and everything you all do.
Sometimes I see items with strange names and I swear it is wrong, but I never write them down. I'll have to start keeping track. One in particular had the same name as another item with only one thing that made it different, yet it seemed totally wrong as it was a recolor.
well for example, I do not understand why this guy has the word Item in his name (and it is one you posted, ).

For those of you curious - I had a very good holiday! I got to explore Amsterdam (went to a lot of museums) and eat a lot of good food with my dear friend I met when I lived in Israel. I also got to see get married in England!

Welcome back! I'm originally from a city 15 miles West of Amsterdam and know how good some of these museums are; hope you got to go to the Vincent van Gogh and the Rijksmuseum!

I did both of those! I had a museum pass, so I got to skip the van Gogh line outside (thank god, it was like 2 hours when I showed up haha).
Welcome back from your holiday! I often send in those lil spelling/grammar error forms since I am super pernickity about details like that :)
Is there a specific form for overlay/ci issues as well, or do we just report those in the forum still?
One of those troves of mahar jewels has had the wrong ci color for ages and it makes me nuts.

LOL I had the same reaction!!! And to be completely honest I didn't understand until Amber commented on a thread about her 'adding items' to the site. I love the even more now that I get it lol

Have you noticed the colors match the gems of the specific mahar colors? Like are yellow (instead of green) because the field mahar has yellow gems? They used to drive me nuts too, until I realised this (who am I kidding, someone told me this, hahaha).
Thank you for the little updates, Amber! I've been submitting a few small fixes every now and again with those forms, nice to see them implemented ^^
