I'm here (once again!) for advice. Cave Johnson is a fan pet of Cave Johnson from Portal 2. I've replayed Portal 2 again recently (and gosh, that game will never get old) and I'm hyped to work on Cave, but I'm not sure what to make him. I'd love any ideas, especially from other fans who can think of a pet that captures his personality and/or look. I'm happy editing a pet image/making a custom overlay but I want something at least fitting to start with. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated but if you have any particular reasons for a suggestion I'd love to hear them!

I'm thinking some kind of Experiment Pet (bc I mean, come on) but I'm open to any fitting ideas for him!

The penguin one, because penguin is so dramatically different from my image of Cave. I imagined him this big football player/bear of a man. It made me giggle to think of him as short. xP

Since Cave is from a more 'nostalgic' time, but you'd still have the tech aspect.

I just like the telenine, but the mahar works since Cave was a profits man.

Nuclear might work too with all those chemicals Cave developed! Plus Cave just seems like a Mortiking kind of guy. xP

have you thought of making him a Zasaba? you know, like the army of mantis men he talks about? there's a steamwork one too if that appeals to you.

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply! Real life has been keeping me busy and I didn't want to just fire off a short comment when people have taken time to think about this and help me out-- I wanted to be able to properly sit down and reply.

These are so many suggestions, thank you! ;o; I hadn't considered nostalgic or neuclear, but I like both ideas a lot! They aren't really species I tend to gravitate toward but I definitely think some are quite fitting for him so I'm really glad you took the time to point them out for me; thank you! I'm definitely going to sit down and go through more colours and species that you've brought up now; I'm still undecided but these are so many great ideas. :D
