This is beyond outrageous! How could they do this to a 7-year-old boy with Asperger's Syndrome. And on top of this, the mothers of the other children of that school feel bloody proud of it, as if that kid had done sth terribly wrong or committed a horrendous crime! 😠

According to the article, the child had had multiple violent outbursts, including attacking other children. My heart goes out to him and his family, but it sounds like he has some severe behavioral problems on top of ASD. But expelling someone so young is heartbreaking, and I hope he is able to find a new school quickly.

I'm surprised by how calm the mother is acting. If I had a child and someone kicked them out of a school for something like this, I'd probably lose my shit. I want to say kudos to her for keeping her cool...but then it kind of looks almost as if she doesn't seem to care in parts of the article. And the other parents...don't they have any compassion for their fellow human beings? Wow. This whole thing is rather disturbing.

Sorry but if your kid is violent and attacking other kids then he doesn't belong in a regular classroom

I'm going to have to agree with Jethros here. The school had tried all sorts of ways to integrate him, but why should 35 other students have to suffer for one disruptive and combative student?

Unfortunately, I'm in agreement. It's terrible for the mother and the son, but the article clearly states he was violent on multiple occasions. Being autistic doesn't excuse violent behavior. The best thing for him would probably be to be placed in a school more equipped to handle such outbursts.

I'm autistic.

If he really was violent he did not belong in a regular classroom. I hope that he can attend school again once his behavioural issues are worked on. Everyone deserves an education. The other students would have trouble getting an education while they're being attacked by another child.

This isn't a case of an autistic child being kicked out for being autistic, it's a case of a physically violent child being kicked out for attacking other students.

I will love you forever if you trade me:
