I was just wondering, do your Pets have jobs? If so, do they have one that fits their character, or just something random? Or do you only care for the most sP earned and take the best paid jobs?

Currently I'm training a few Pets while reading them books as well to reach certain stats so they can get a certain job one day. I'm also keeping a list on my computer where I wrote everything down I need.

I've noticed that there are actually a few perfect jobs for my Pets like the "Enthusiastic Tour Guide" for Sater or "Decadent Duke" for Bellegarde (thanks to for leading me that way, he almost ended up on Freyalise as "Quirky Quartermaster", but a Duke fits him so much better even though it's a bakery themed job...), while some are just for fun (Sewell the "Sassy Security Guard" just sounds to good to me), and others are completely random and cute, like the desired jobs for Pucki and Wippi.

SPOILER (click to toggle) Upshur Subeta Tribune Level 6: Tribune Investigative Journalist

Smith Shinwa Level 6: Singer of Praises

Linc Shinwa Level 8: Keeper of Justice

Bellegarde The Bake Shop Level 11: Decadent Duke

Brynjolf Maleria Level 4: Shadow Thief

Carlo The Bake Shop Level 9: Chocolate Chief

Legolas Maleria Level 6: Scary Assassin

Pucki Library Level 7: Awe-Inspiring Storyteller

Ruvik Maleria Level 8: Master of Plotting

Taka Shinwa Level 9: Operative for the Light (Top Position)

Wippi Thimble & Co Level 9: Hobby Manager

Vesemir Quentin Level 8: Demon Hunter (Top Position)

Sewell Delphi Art Museum Level 4: Sassy Security Guard

Sater Delphi Art Museum Level 3: Enthusiastic Tour Guide

Sam W. Quentin Level 8: Demon Hunter (Top Position)

Tuvok (Security Guard), Deuce (Front Desk Clerk), Mr. Woody (Green Energy Lobbyist) and The One Truth (Mirror Holder) already have reached their goal long time ago~ (:

I haven't got jobs for all of my pets, but I've got some that fit their character, and others are pretty random just because I wanted to see what the job titles were :P

SPOILER (click to toggle) Lorna - Centrifuge Master - The Sable Smithy (as my battle pet, she had to get a weapon related job!)

Ambessa - Analytic Methodologist - SAI (just so I could say I had a pet working there :P)

Lilly Evans - Battle Master - Weapons Warehouse (again Lilly is a battler, hence the battle job)

Halfling - Gold Specialist - All That Glitters (utterly perfect!)

Adventures - Part-Time Test Subject - Asmodeus Genetech Lab (doesn't fit her character, but is perfect for her name)

Aeanoid - Professional Centropolis Crosswalk Helper - Volunteer Co-op (kind of fits the character)

Agriculture - Horticulturist - Seedlings (maybe not the best job for his character, but it does fit him)

Bops - Jump Rope Untangler - Toy Box (he doesn't have a character yet, but the job seems to go with his name :P)

Crumple-Horned Snorkack - Gifted Gift Shop Clerk - Delphi Museum of Modern Art (absolutely nothing to do with his character at all!)

Dr Watson - Weapons Expert - Weapons Warehouse (Dr Watson wouldn't be the same if he didn't know his way around a few handguns)

Floriculture - Sprout Tender - Seedlings (just waiting for a "florist" job title really :P)

Frodo Baggins - Donation Center Sorter - Volunteer Co-op (utterly random again)

Get - Underpaid Art Student Intern - Delphi Museum of Modern Art (not sure why I've got Get working there - he'd be more suited to the Adopt-R-Us....)

Gnomebite - Gifted Gift Shop Clerk - Delphi Museum of Modern Art (I think seedlings would be better for Gnomebite)

Horticulture - Horticulturist - Seedlings (the BEST job ever :P)

Infinitely - Store Clerk - Food Market)

Inga - Glitter Master - Thimble & Co. (not the best job title for her, but I didn't want to restart once I'd got to the top tier :P)

Kwikspell - Hopper - Spring Street Brewery (perfect for his character)

Lestrade - Sassy Security Guard - Delphi Museum of Modern Art (hehe I couldn't resist DI Lestrade as a Sassy Security Guard!)

Mary Morstan - Villainous Henchmen - Maleria (working up to assassin)

Melohdee - Kennel Cleaner - Adopt R Us (she needs a music themed job really)

Meriadoc Brandybuck - Candy Sorter - Candy Shack (a food based job for a Hobbit)

Neville Longbottom - Soil Mixer - Seedlings :D

Professor Dumbledore - Womens Specialist - Clothing Rack (an odd sounding job, but he does collect socks :P)

Rags - Groomer - Adopt R Us

Reamus - Private Shopper - Clothing Rack (utterly random :P)

Sada - Manure Processor - Seedlings (that needs to be either Clothing Rack or something to do with weddings :P)

Sceltor - Head of Adoptions - Adopt R Us (definitely doesn't fit his character!)

Shallot - Register Clerk - Food Market (that works - I had enough pets workign in Seedlings!)

Ujin - Store Manager - Food Market (the perfrect job for him :D)

Kosmo - Tray De-Warper - Quick Bites (bit of a random one, but he is my gourmand, so it had to be food related ;))

Belier's a Housekeeping Manager, which I chose just because it was the best paying thing he qualified for. Erienne I'm not sure I'll keep, but maybe I'll try and get that SAI job with her...

I hadn't thought of giving pets jobs to fit their characters, though, that's a really nice idea. Too bad I'm horrible at creating characters for my pets, lol.

HERE WE GO

Obelisk Beach Shack Beach Comber (Lv 1)

Quark Asmodeus Genetech Lab Part-Time Test Subject (Lv 1)

Harlot Candy Shack Candy Sorter (Lv 1)

Widow Toy Box Jump Rope Untangler (Lv 1)

Dynasty Lakeview Resort Hotel Owner (Lv 7)

Tank SAI Analytic Methodologist (Lv 5)

Mort Seedlings Soil Mixer (Lv 2)

Countess Weapons Warehouse Store Clerk (Lv 2)

Tar Yun Enterprises Scrap Collector (Lv 1)

Quark's and Harlot's jobs make complete sense given their characters (Quark is a weird space/time traveling entity and Harlot is a jester) and I think Widow's makes kiiinda sense (she's a spider, and tangled ropes aren't too different than tangled webs). Countess is really feisty, so I could see her working at the weapon shop.

Obelisk's is hilarious to me, as his job is mega unfitting for his character. He's not the sort of person to do any manual labor.

The others are all kinda just neutral.

only 3 of my pets don't have jobs. The rest of them i tried to get them jobs that fit their character - dimitri. he's a writer so he works at the library; Crafter [the name says it all, he's a Professional Paint Palette Producer (Thimble & Co.)], and so on. there are others that dont really fit: Takegami Teijiro is a tribute pet, but is my battle pet, so he's a Battle Master (Weapons Warehouse)

some pets need training to get promotions, but been lazy..

I really have to update my blog ObscureJourney and my review site BeingObscure. French speakers can read my reviews here.

I've only got a few pets employed.

Driln is an Elder Scrolls fan pet, and my battle pet. Since his stats are the highest out of all my pets, I just put him in the best paying job at the time (must check that actually). Managing Editor for Subeta Tribune.

Nageki Fujishiro is a Hatoful Boyfriend fan pet. The character he's based on always hangs out in the Library, so that's where he works. I'm leaving him at "Professional Shusher". It's perfect! xD

Darrel Bradson is named after one of my Tomodachi Life islanders. He often reacts positively to being given women's clothes, so the pet is working at the Clothing Rack as a Women's Specialist.

I've tried to get most of my pets jobs that match their characters or nearest to them.

Ricochet, Skyfyre, Starscream. and Biomech All work for Asmodeus Genetech Lab. All of them having science in their background.

Hess is a Mad Medic and works in the Graveyard with Quentin.

My Battle pet Predaking works for The Sable Smithy. As a steamwork it seems most apt. Serrated and Freestyle a battle pet and a trainee work in Yun Enterprises.

Megatronus is working his way up in the Battle Coliseum.

While Soundwave is Darkmatter Babysitter for Maleria. (and will stay there because if reminds me of his deployers.)

Some of my pets just have jobs because their stats are too low to work anywhere else. That would be Everyone who works for the beach shack. XD I have no real sea pets.

Yes, they do have jobs, and I try my best to pick jobs that suit them! It's hard though in some cases. Here's what I've come up with, because I love rambling about my bbys ❤

SPOILER (click to toggle) -Tak at SAI - it has nothing to do with his character, but he's my reader and battler, so he's the only one with a chance of advancing lol. -Al Cody at Volunteer Co-Op - Al's a total sweetheart and nice guy, so he would totally be a volunteer ❤ He's actually a musician and office worker but there's nothing comparable. -Llewyn at Pawn Shop - doesn't really fit, he's a musician too, but there's nothing else. Why isn't there a musician job?? -Sprog at Toy Box - she's a kid, so why not? :) -Resistance at Get Mugged - he's a fan pet for Poe Dameron, but there's no pilot job, and in one of my AU fanfics, Poe's a barista, so it was the best I could do. -Captain Phasma at Battle Coliseum - pretty close for a soldier. -The Man in the Planet at Maleria - he's a malevolent deity sorta thing, so I don't know that he would actually want to work for another malevolent deity, but it's not a bad choice. -Jowday at Half Baked - I really love this one. She's a powerful dark/evil/negative force but also a mother... so of course she would bake, right?? but not at a regular bakery but at a ZOMBIE BAKERY. it's perfect~ -Drifblim at the Bake Stop - he's my Drifblim OC Poof who loves donuts and all baked goods, so it makes sense it would work in a bakery too (but not at a zombie bakery, because he's a happy fluff cute balloony poof). He probably eats more than he sells, but whatever. -Sandygast at the Beach Shack - I mean, she's a sandcastle. Where else would she work? -Inflated at the Pawn Shop - he's my newest pet, a Drifloon OC who's a shyster. So he really WOULD work at a pawn shop. He and Jeremy would get along really well. -Togemon at Seedlings - she's a cactus Digimon. She's also a boxing cactus Digimon so she probably should have worked at the coliseum, I'm not sure why I put her at Seedlings... but she's at the top position now, so I'm not gonna move her. -Blimpmon at Weapons Warehouse - blimp Digimon OC who's a guard for a flying island. I figured working with weapons was pretty close to that. -Tivan at Museum of Modern Art - he's a fan pet for the Collector from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so running a museum was a good fit. -Ishmahri at Thimble and Co. - it has nothing to do with the character, but none of the other jobs do either. Again, a musician job would really be useful here. -Kuranes at Library - he's actually a king, but I kind of assumed he likes to read? -Topper at Adopt R Us - memorial pet for my rescue fur baby, so I thought the adoption center was a suitable job. -Smiley at Toy Box - she's a tribute pet for my childhood plushie, so of course she'd work in a toy shop :D -Herne the Hunter at Brewery - there's no hunter job, but he probably likes to drink beer? -Balloonatic at Freyalise - he's a balloonist, but again, there's no pilot job. Ship crew was the next best thing.

Good to hear that I'm not alone in that boat. Haha. I loved reading about all the jobs your Pets have and the reasons behind! :D

(I just need the motivation now to get the jobs showing on my Pets with Profiles. Ugh. xD)

Believe me, training more than 2 Pets at the same time is so... annoying. xD But I am glad that I only need to reach certain stats with them, and then I'll just stop and maybe train others so they can get a job as well. But yeah... it's not easy to keep the motivation up. lol

Obelisk at the Beach Shack is just... lol I actually love giving Pets unfitting jobs, but I have none anymore, but I should definitely get a Beach Comber or Patty Flipper (my main fav for lulz) again.

Oh yes. I know~ When we only had a few jobs I think I had all my Pets signed up for the lowest one with the 0 Intelligence requirement and that's it. It was just because I could say "They give at least a bit sP each day. xD"

Oh yes, I know random jobs for some so well. Xuchilbara is a Hotel Owner (Lakeview Resort), but he had this job before his rename a long while ago and so far I didn't have the need to change it. Though Maleria's work sounds like something for him, actually. Maybe he'll switch one day. He needs to train a lot before he'll reach Level 7: Advisor of Maliciousness, so I might just do that before signing him up there. xD

Also, Sater has been a Pawnbroker before, absolutely random job as well, for the same reason as Xu has his job, but I've now saw the Tour Guide job and just HAD to change it. xD

Yeah, no hunter job is just sad... even more while keeping in mind that some just are repeating like Stock Worker or Register Clerk - it makes sense, I know, but I wish the older jobs had some witty job levels, like The Bake Shop for example or some others. (:

(Also, totally non-topic, but I absolutely adore your Digimon Pets! Loved that series back then when it first aired, though I never really liked the seasons from 3rd upwards, it just got very confusing for me. I loved 1 and 2 and that's all I ever need. xD)

I wish we had a fitting Atebus space explorer type career. For all my Star Trek babes and Nakai. ;o;

I have Blakeley in SAI because it is good paying. Audrianna is a rare gem specialist for All That Glitters because it fits her and her TC. I do not want to go up to the last tier, I like the name of the tier she is at for her. I want to put Brecklynn in Asmodeus Genetect because she is an experiment pet. I want Thadeus to work at the Toy Box because I want to do something childlike with him I think. And Rorie is a Stylist at the Clothing Rack because it fits what I want to do with him someday.

I want to eventually match all my pets with jobs for whatever I make their personality but I am really slow with pets. I really have not done much with my pets at all. I am not really creative.

I'm currently training all of my pets so they can have decent paying jobs. Seranbo and Dr. Doctor are the only two with a job currently, both at the Battle Coliseum and Genetech lab.

Princess Butterball works for Subeautique. I kind of figured she's a snotty kitty and I can see her being a designer. It was that or get her a food related job... lol

Sir Rodney works for Lakeside Resort. I actually was going for a job that sounded like working in paradise. I'm not sure if being a hotel chain owner counts. I was just wondering what the highest level was and ended up there. Not sure if I'll change it.

Creator Destroyer works for the Recycling Center. The character doesn't fit for the job but the name does. The song she's named after is about calling Mother Nature to come and destroy humans, to cleanse what we've done to her.

Paper Witch works for the art museum, quite by accident. I was just going by what was the highest paid job and that one was it. Going to be keeping that.

The rest of my pets just work at whatever is the highest paying for them.

Two of my pets have jobs which fit them only because of the tittles they got:

Bucky is a special Operative. He won't go higher but he had other jobs which fitted with him when he had other names and characters. He went through many character developments.

And Froon is a Professional Shusher which fits him very perfectly. He won't go higher either.

(They are both fan-pets).

Most of my pets are unemployed, because I don't like giving pets random jobs. I want their jobs to at least somewhat fit their personality or character.

SPOILER (click to toggle) Kuzaku - Special Operative (SAI) This doesn't fit him at all, but he's my battle pet so he gets all the books... and working for SAI is like, A Thing, you know? He's slowly working his way up the ladder, he needs to read more.

Sayamisu - Junior Lifeguard (Beach Shack) His actual job is assistant swim instructor, but this fits fairly well. I did eventually want him to be a Scuba Instructor (which I believe is the highest level?) but I'm too lazy to put in the effort. XD

Faelan - Soil Mixer (Seedlings) She could have any job at Seedlings and it would fit lol

Andera - Manager (Get Mugged!) I'm not sure he's actually a manager, I think he's just a regular peon making drinks for people, but he does work at a coffee/tea shop.

Raywinn - Paper Pusher (Library) Ray and Erik own their own bookstore, but this is as close as I could come.

Arisel Darkwood - Lead Librarian (Library) Erik takes care of most of the business end of the bookstore, Ray just charms the customers, hence Erik's higher level.

Hisaka - Topiary Tender (Seedlings) Um, this doesn't really fit... but it sort of does? He works with plants, but not at any kind of business or anything.

Sheka - Soil Mixer (Seedlings) Sheka works for Parks and Rec in his city, so this is as close as I could come to his actual job. Like Fae, he could probably do anything at Seedlings and it would fit just as well.
