Looks like the old HS table for books has finally been removed :( From what I've heard, this list was a bit more inaccurate than the new current list, I get it but... The new list only shows the top 30 pets and I'm nowhere near that quite yet.
It was fun and encouraging to be able to watch my pet progress up the old list, which listed 100 pets, and I think that's a much more reasonable number. Guess I'm just a bit bummed, since I checked that list pretty frequently to get an idea of where she fell in the pack.

Hello! I'm the one who updated those links and removed the old food/book high score tables. This is because, as you mentioned, the old tables weren't as accurate, and it was confusing to have two different tables for the same thing. On your pet's Book Read page there is an updated link, and the Foods Eaten page now has a link to the new food high scores as well. Links everywhere should be updated but if you find one that's incorrect just let me know.
The old tables won't be coming back, but I'm happy to consider making improvements to the new tables, such as increasing the number of pets displayed from 30 to 100 or more... Why don't you make a thread in Suggestions, maybe others can help flesh out that idea more too as well as anything else you guys would like to see changed/improved about the new high score tables.
This isn't a terribly high-priority area of the site, but sometimes there are improvements I can do anyway if they are not too complicated, maybe during one of my Thursday sprints :)
