Hey guys! I'm back after a year and half of having no computer. I'm already back on feet as far as getting the hang of Subeta again. I'm looking for some friends. I remember I made a lot of friends back in the day and they're what made Subeta really fun!

Hi, and welcome back! I can't say for Keith, but Merana is no longer available at the Omen Islands due to last year's plot where we accidentally released her at the end. She's now roaming the map on certain days and you have to click her icon to be taken to the option to make a Hydrus pet.

As you may have noticed, we're in the middle of the latest Gelatin War, so if you're a battler you might want to get involved and try to fight the Hydragellos(this year, it is hanging around the entire duration of the event, anyone who has a single pet reach 5 million total damage will earn a Core, but it is limited to one Core per user regardless of how many pets they own who deal that damage). Edit: Whoops, looks like you aren't a battler. Well, what better time to give it a shot? We're a real friendly bunch in the Battle Chat thread and you can eventually earn some really cool loot.

Most of what you mentioned is also stuff I'm into though I don't really talk about it on here much, so I sent a friend request.

Ohhh, that's interesting! I remember being a newbie and wanting a hydrus pet so bad. the omen island map pieces are SO much cheaper than they were a few years back. I suppose since she's just floating around now it would make sense that the map pieces are easy to come by now.

I've tried to get into battling. I'm just really bad at it. I've been training my pet Arodactial for some time. He's pretty strong but I need to buy more weapons and scrolls.

It certainly was, I'm sorry to see you couldn't participate. If you want to read more about what happened there are a couple of plot threads here and here. If there's anything from the associated plot shop that catches your eye, let me know, I've got 95 points just sitting around I can use if you want something.

The Hydrus pets were a big interest for me too once I learned about them! My main pet Kilroy spent a lot of time as a Hydrus Cadogre. I'm not sure exactly when the map pieces became cheaper since I completed mine years ago, but I wouldn't be surprised if Merana's departure helped, since there isn't much else there now.

Aw, don't worry about that. It takes a little while for lower-tier pets to start gaining ground, and it really, really helps if you have the right equipment. There's a recommended weapons by tier guide here that might help. It also helps if you're willing to burn CSC and autotrain every day. (And sorry if I'm harping on about a subject you aren't greatly thrilled by, battling is one of the main draws for me and has been for over a decade now.)

What do you think about the direction the Potterverse is branching out to lately? Heard anything about the play?

Since I'm into graphic design I'm planing on making pet profiles that match their personalities. But I'm definitely into battling as well. I've been training everyday. I do plan on buying some CSC and use it on training... wearables too, not gonna lie LOL I have so many loyalty boxes, I used one to level up aro xD

Neat, what programs do you plan to use? And if you need any coding help, while I have learned a bit and might be able to contribute, there's... well, there used to be some coding advice threads and I've been trying to find them again for the past ten minutes to no avail haha. Glad to hear that, battling is just such a great feature. Yeah, there are a lot of really good wearables in the cash shop! If you're using the Bathhouse Pools every day you'll get some free CSC at certain intervals.

Loyalty boxes are great for getting some extra stats like that. Last time I checked, the cost to get the same amount of stats out of regular mage tomes is around 43 million at the going price of 3.2 per tome, but you can't beat a tome for all-around boosting(and most importantly, gaining intelligence) down the road. Right now you're definitely better though saving expensive boosters and relying on training and experience from battle quests, and if you haven't already heard, strength and health are generally agreed to be the best stats outside of intelligence to raise early on.

Ah, sorry, 'Potterverse' is just a term for all things related to Harry Potter and as I writer it's easy shorthand at this point. I've never gone to a convention either, I don't even know if there are any in my area. I was mostly interested in what you thought about the live action play, Cursed Child, if I remember right, or the film, Fantastic Beasts?

Haha yeah, I was still just a teenager back when I joined. I missed a lot of that time due to hiatuses though, and even now I don't do all of the dailies that I should. 9 years is also a really long time, did you make any big goals that you wanted to meet?
