First question - Natasha. I'm juuuust about to be able to afford one finally for my T11 pet. Is it worth it, or is there a better, cheaper T11 weapon I should consider buying first? (Got my eyes on some paintbrushes, for example...)

Second question - I just realized I hadn't fought the Mornrise Serpent yet so gave it a go and now I've got a Ruined Mornrise Relic. I know it can be combined with an Eventide Chakram to make a Recovered Relic Hammer or with the Fruit Punch Club to make a Fruit Bone Dagger. Both are L7 weapons, so which one is better? I know which one is more expensive so if they're about equal I'll go with the dagger.

Thank you!

Natasha is the best affordable and readily available fire-blocking godly so you'll want to get it when you get further into T11 and beyond anyway. However it depends on the opponents you want to beat at the moment (and next in line). If I have to rank the three MC godlies/ demigod, I'd say fire and earth are more common icons than physical generally speaking. For BQs alone you might find more use out of Natasha or OHS than the Ether, so that puts the Ether at the bottom of your MC weapon shopping list.

Now between Natasha and OHS, it's a tough decision. Many battlers would recommend Natasha over OHS, or vice versa. It then depends on what you've got available in your set that can temporarily replace either of the two.

I wonder if you're doing BQs and your Natasha purchase is for that purpose. If that's the case, let me attempt at breaking down the opponents from level 25 to 30 and their difficulty in ascending order so hopefully you can make your own decision on which to buy first or which is more helpful to you at your current stats

General Error: Beatable with pets from mid-high T9. No Natasha or OHS needed.

Flamagia: Beatable with pets from high T10. Fire blocker needed. PStaff and Cursed Liquid Fire Torch are cheaper alternatives to Natasha (I actually first beat Flamagia at high T10 using Prodigy Staff, so if you can find one for cheaper than SS, it can be your temporary fire blocker for the time being), though both of them are expensive at the moment.

Unstable Snow Fairy (Lv30) Suitable for early to mid T11 Natasha, OHS and The Ether are not relevant.

Crithbolcan (L30 - also Cash Shop) Starting from T11 OHS needed, especially for early T11. High T11 can manage with Minotaur Knocker.

Malerias Familiar: Mid to mid-high T11 OHS or Natasha is good but not necessary. Paintbrush blades or a dark blocker will do just fine.

Chase: Mid-high T11 Natasha is good as steal bait generator and OHS is good for anti-steal blessing. He deals a bit of fire and earth which makes these two relevant but he actually deals light and wind more regularly. I did use Natasha to get my first win against him.

Crawbeast High T11 Neither Nat or OHS is relevant

Prodigy Natasha is recommended, but he's untouchable until you're on the cusp of T12.

For the upcoming event challengers (barring TBT because they're unknown until released) there seems to be a clear tendency of opponents dealing heavy dark, water, and earth damage in general, so perhaps it might be helpful to take that into consideration when buying your weapon too.

At T11 you might be able to beat Sophie (the one that gives the PBBlades) and Black Friday sale is three months away. If you can wait until then to beat her you just need to pay for the unlocking item. Right now I'd recommend getting a core if you can afford the time, and beat Gelatin Wizard to make the Maniacal Essence. If you haven't got a wind block, that one might be advisable since it will be of great use for a few year-end challengers and some foes in BQs too (Chase, Unstable Snow Fairy, even Malerias Familiar and Crithbolcan).

Unfortunately I'm not very familiar with either of the T7 weapons you ask about, so I can't really give an opinion on those. If you want to use them for your T11 pet, however, there are definitely better options.

I only do BQs on occasion because I tend to get bored easily (same reason I don't quest regularly either, which is why it's taken me this long to get the sP I've managed to save up), so if I buy one really good weapon it's going to have to be my main weapon for quite a while against a lot of challengers.

My current weapons for my main pet are...

I also have available...

(I'm a long way off from upgrading that)

If I buy the Ornamental Hook Swords, that will give me an extra 300 million to spend on other stuff, but then it will be a long time before I'm even close to getting Natasha again.

Ugh, decisions. But you've answered the biggest question I had - it's a very good weapon and worth buying either now or later, whatever I decide to do. Thank you very much.

As for my Genetech question, I think I'll go with the dagger because a) it's worth more and b) worse comes to worse, it's a wearable. :)

Why don't you use Trident in your default set? It's easily the best of all especially for pets at T10 and above. I'd definitely swap the Scissorbeak out for Trident.

If you want solid and affordable weapons that you'll use for a long time, you might want to consider some of these: or for fire block. Possessed Bow is like the demigod version of Natasha. Decent.

an outlier for its tier. I highly recommend this one.

Then you can save up casually if you care more about participating in battling events rather than BQs or beating CS challenger. Paintbrush blades are also good. Godlies are really good for big challengers but they're icon specific so we tend to have a range of weapons available. Earth, fire, dark and physical seems to be pretty common. If you stretch it a little bit more you can perhaps afford both OHS and Possessed Bow at ~850mil. For general battling Possessed Bow is just as good as Natasha, unless you're going against very difficult challengers that are higher up there at high T12 to T13.

Thank you for the time and advice. I'll wait to see what I've got after Questathon is over and make a decision then (still about 20 million away, and if I fight Hydragellos it'll be a while longer :D).

I've made the switch you suggested so the trident is now in my default set.

I'm also surprised I don't have Sophie as a challenger. I tend to buy all the CS items even if the challenger is a long way off. Now I wonder what other ones I may have missed...

You're welcome :) Have you checked your account? Maybe you've bought it but just haven't unlocked her?

Fortunately November is not that far off :) They are quite similar, those research notes, so it's possible to miss one of them. I had trouble keeping track of those when I bought them during BF sale two years ago too :D
