Hey! Can anyone suggest some Tier 1 weapons that pack a good punch? (I have two Tier 1 pets with less than 35 health each) I'm not big on battling, but I wanna participate in the Gelatin War!

Should this be moved to Battle > Set Advice?

Most battlers are going to be too super busy grinding for that Core to check somewhat obscure even for Battle subforum of Set Advice, so I'm gonna answer this here before it moves. Even I'm here to advise you instead of just battling and grinding because my fingers are killing me.

you can look at what weapons are available by looking for the pet named tier 1, using Search Subeta. The Scalpel is a good dual use in that it does some heal, and the Shuriken are great bombs. The thing you can do that will boost you the most is to read or have read 64 books so that you can cast the spell Champion. .

oh noes, it's not 'everyone'. Most users here don't battle much at all. But they can't advise you as well they don't know, either and because they will be even less likely to find the correct subforum that is shunting you off to. Don't sweat the wrong forum thing BTW, everyone is new.

If you want someone to know you have replied to their post, either click the bullhorn in the upper right of the bar across the top of their post, or put an @ in front of their username. That way if (for instance) your post shifts out of a Forum that they read regularly they can still find you. :)

Ah, okay, I gotcha. Thanks again, by the way. What's terrible is I'm not even all that new, I just don't catch on to stuff easily lol.

For tier 1 I usually use something like: as attacker. as attacker with some heals on it. This one doesn't deal that much damage, but with the heal you can somtimes survive a bit longer. the must have for any battler, once per battle it provides your pet with a 100% heal. Maybe not super usefull at tier 1, but if you're serious about battling, then this is a staple all the way through to tier 13. If you're not afraid to spend a bit of SP, then I would recommend the which scales as you go up tiers, so it will get more powerfull as your pet gets more powerfull. On tier 1 probably not the best option I think. is a bomb, once per battle you can use it to deal a bit more damage than with infinite use attackers. for defense, although I never really use it, attackers all the way!

Depending on how much intelligence your pet has, a nice infinite use healing scroll can also help. For the pets that are just starting out, I think the is the most basic one, that heals 15hp every time you use it. You'll quickly outgrow it, but it's pretty cheap to start out with. Can be made in the secluded shrine, check whether it's cheaper to make it yourself or to buy from shop search.
