I just recently hit tire 7 and I am holding on buying new weapon until I get to Tire 8, so I don't really know wny tire 7 weapons. Which weapon should I use for most damage per fight/turn with good price? Should I dual weild [item2=steamwork hunting gun] ?

First off, congrats on reaching tier 7. Could you tell us what weapons you use for your standard battle set, and what scrolls you use? If you don't want to buy tier 7 weaponry you will probably diminish your overall damage by the end of the event, but that is up to you.

Hrm... I'm assuming you don't get more than one turn given the usual damage output the Hydragellos is doing, right? I think if you could block his icons and freeze him that would help, but with that low AP its going to be hard to chain-freeze. Sent over a few items I think can help. I'd recommend equipping Negating Pylonic for the full block so you have a chance on turn one to set up an attacker+DDS+Basalt Blast, then attacker+attacker+Shriek of Despair, and just Frost Thorn+Reborn Icewand after that. You should get a minimum of three turns with the potential for four/five if you can freeze him again from Shriek on turn three and then Frost/Reborn on turn four.

I've seen Item Hunters Bomb mentioned before as a good bomb for lower tiers.

I did actaully manage to Freeze him pretty often (Forst Thorn), but I am usually dead by then and Phoenix Quill can't save me. I have a lot of Negating Pylonic and Glaciating Pylonic handy, but I am saving up money. Unless he decide to Block, I am pretty screwed.

Probably happy to invest in Cobalt Eternal and Shriek of Despair. Item Hunter Bomb is dirt cheap, thank you!
