i for one am really enjoying all these user-submitted art contests and i really appreciate all of the hard work people put into them :D its so nice to see how talented subeta users are and as an artist who struggles with drawing as of late it really motivates me to draw!! so im really grateful for the sudden focus on user-submission based contests and just the general influx of artist rand author related items. i think it greatly improves my interest in the site and motivates me to be a constant participant instead of just like, doing my quests and not interacting with anyone lol

the only negative feedback i have is that i much prefer the previous methods of voting (let goat of your worries, veta lake) where we were able to see every entry. i greatly enjoy seeing all the talent on subeta rather than just a few entries, though i do approve of moderated entries due to the problems with spam. but this is like a really minor complaint.

id also love to see more human avatar contests, like the one we had for epicon a long time ago? those were also super fun and not geared toward just us artsy fartsy types

Despite not being particularly artistically-inclined, I really appreciate that the staff put together these contests despite the complaints in the aftermath - some legitimate, some not - each and every time. I know it must be demoralising sometimes, but thank you for taking things in your stride and continuing to deliver consistent events where there's always an attempt to try something new and improve upon our experience, and continuing to work together with the community that do enjoy these events. I like the staff gives the users the change to join artistic contests. Even I have no time to join each contest by myself, I appreciate the artists who join the contests and the staff too.

yesss, i love these! there's always so many wonderful entries and it's really cool to see how creative everyone is ❤️ i personally have very little skill in art, but i love to see all the beautiful things people come up with and how they're implemented onsite n_n kinda conflicted about HA contests though, i love them but i feel like they're very hard to judge well since there's always so many entries and everyone's taste is different!
