Okay, so here, we need to discuss/decide:
Make sure you include reasoning for everything, that we can present in our answer.

Anyone with any thoughts on the potions? I'm not sure that we have to find the exact items (since there are about a billion items on subeta). I think we're more or less supposed to be creative, and just come up with a good reason for our answers...

Okay, so I was thinking about this one a bit, and I thought it would probably make the most sense to use the kinds of items that are made to go in potions and medicines, so maybe items mainly from these shops:
Could also use some items that are pure, natural ingredients, though not necessarily specified for magic: Fresh and Flavorful Food Market
I guess maybe items from this shop would also be possible, but probably less so, since that's more modern medicine, not necessarily for mystical/lore-related conditions... Medicontra

I looked up all the items listed on subetalodge for Spells Galore (there may be some not listed?). I was mainly going by description. If you guys want me to post again with a description, why I chose them, or the ones that seem most useful, tell me. But it's a decent list.
Here's a list of them:
Acorn Angelica Baby Breath Bark of Birch Batwing Beetle Juice Cave Moss Common Rue Copper Coral Crystal Shard Deer Antler Desert Sand Elemental Candles Empty Vial Fresh Mistletoe Gargoyle Fragments Gold Dust Golden Seal Gourd Henbane Holy Water Kirin Scale Lotus Petal Mandrake Root Marble Mortar and Pestle Monks Hood Mugwort Naga Fang Phoenix Ashes Rosemary Sacred Ground Sands of Time Sea Salt Serpent Skin Simple Goblet Snail Shell Tiger Bones White Sand Wild Clover Wild Garlic Willow Twig Wooden Mortar and Pestle
What made you pick these forty some out of the 163 total listed for that shop? And which ones do you think will be most useful for defeating the Coppelia spell?
Also, remember, we need to think about what's in the other two potions, as well. And at least some ingredients from each of those should make it into our coppelia potion, I'd imagine...
We should certainly do any grinding with the mortar and pestle:
Wooden Mortar and Pestle All natural ingredients must be ground with a wooden mortar and pestle if they are to be ground at all, or they may lose their magic.
oh wait...
Marble Mortar and Pestle Any alchemist knows that if you use a wooden mortar and pestle, that it ruins the purity of the ingredients, so they use marble.
This ingredient looks interesting: Wolf Tooth A symbol of cunning, this wolf tooth may help with all sorts of spells.
Definitely feel like we need a heavy dose of this: Sea Salt Salt is often used to prevent magic of all kinds... Salt is the grounder of magic, and will help protect you from it, or purify someone who has been enchanted.
Serpent Skin A serpents skin is used to help you shed enchantments and curses.
Snail Shell A little snail shell will help to protect you from all forms of un-natural magic.
Tiger Bones Tiger bones are used for all sorts of healing spells and potions.
I feel like this could have been used in the spell that caused the Coppelia's condition: Squid Ink Squid ink will help to cast spells that dull the senses.
Lion Tooth The lion's tooth is perfect for all sorts of spells that are designed to harm another person.
Staple ingredient that may be in any or all of these: Mandrake Root A basic of almost every spell... This plant is said to scream when uprooted.
Might be in the vampire/werewolf potions: Angelic Feather This feather is extremely rare; it is used to promote virtue and symbolizes purity and love.

Reading through all the posts here and I went through the list of spells galore items on subetalodge... so far, here are my thoughts on possible candidates for ingredients for each potion. So far I haven't gotten to the potions effect part...
I'm not sure if we're required to pick out the Mortar and Pestles or not... it's clever thinking but I don't know if we're supposed to take things that deep or not. Hmm...
Maybe we should all make lists of what we think could be in the potions and then ultimately go with the most popular choices? Just a thought... odds are there would be some reoccuring items in everyone's theories.
It's hard to know if we should be using items from other places... it definitely makes it easier if we just go through spells galore...
Possible ingredients in Djoni's (green) werewolf potion
Coral (desc: Coral is often used to promote peace, healing, and protection. This dried treasure from the sea holds the powers and wisdoms of the water.)
Frankincense (description mentions that the aroma helps meditation and these potions are supposed to help Djoni and Lysandra keep calm and in control of themselves)
Wolf Tooth (A symbol of cunning, this wolf tooth may help with all sorts of spells.)
Possible ingredients in Lysandras (red) vampire potion
Coral (desc: Coral is often used to promote peace, healing, and protection. This dried treasure from the sea holds the powers and wisdoms of the water.)
Fly Wings (description mentions that it helps with magic dealing with death... vampires are dead, so... not sure on this one) Frankincense (description mentions that the aroma helps meditation and these potions are supposed to help Djoni and Lysandra keep calm and in control of themselves)
Holy Water (maybe? not sure...)
Possible ingredients in Potion affecting the Coppelia
Belladonna (possibly? not sure on this one... desc says it causes madness)
Destroying Angel (desc: A relative of the more.. masculine.. Amanitas, this delicate and simple mushroom has a nasty secret.)
Fishliver Oil (description mentions that it helps thin out potions... might be included so that the poison doesn't outright kill it's victim)
Lion Tooth (like rainestorme suggested, going off it's description The lion's tooth is perfect for all sorts of spells that are designed to harm another person. )
Lotus Petal (desc The petals of the lotus flower are often used to help control someone's mind, and make someone forget things.)
Squid Ink (again like rainestorme's suggestion, Squid ink will help to cast spells that dull the senses.)
Possible antidote for the Coppelia
Angelica (Desc: Correctly named, this plant heals plague, and protects from dark magic.)
Common Rue (desc: Granting immunity to all poisons, the common Rue has been harvested to near extinction.)
Coral (desc: Coral is often used to promote peace, healing, and protection. This dried treasure from the sea holds the powers and wisdoms of the water.)
Sea Salt (desc Salt is often used to prevent magic of all kinds... Salt is the grounder of magic, and will help protect you from it, or purify someone who has been enchanted. )
Serpent Skin (A serpents skin is used to help you shed enchantments and curses.)
Hmm, some of those sound like pretty good ideas. :)
Anyone else have any input?

I'm going to go poking around the graveyard items, like the ones Quentin gives out. So far, I agree with Hannah's choice, but not the holy water. That's usually used to harm such creatures, so I don't think we'd want to add that.
Trying to catch up the last 5 years
Yeah I was really unsure about the holy water. xD not a bad idea to peek at graveyard items! I'm still trying to think of some more that would fit the werewolf and vampire ones.
Okay guys,so this is what we have so far:
ingredients in Djoni's (green) werewolf potion
ingredients in Lysandras (red) vampire potion
ingredients in Potion affecting the Coppelia
antidote for the Coppelia
I think this would be enough to submit, but if you find more ingredients (especially for the werewolf and vampire potions, that certainly wouldn't hurt!!

Link to items quentin gives out
I skimmed through, but didn't see anything that looked inherently useful...
Spotted the stones in Cavern Curios, though. I wonder if we could toss one of those into the brew?
Could be useful in the werewolf or vampire concoctions...
Could have been in the Coppelia potion...

I went poking around graveyard and quentin items, atebus items and Iku tree items, Potions, defence and weapons. Nothing useful I could find.
Raw Opal might be a good idea. But I'm a little torn since they captivate the audience by appearing like they float while they dance .... Which reminds me.... Isn't there an item called a hovering stone or something like that? edit:
Trying to catch up the last 5 years
All good suggestions... OH shouldn't there also be more "red" things in the red potion and something green in the green potion? Hmm...
I'm at a loss for the werewolf one but maybe some kind of blood item for the vampire one..? I'm kind of lost on who all the characters are ((I am every year...)) but if the red potion is supposed to help them control their vampiric nature odds are there has to be some blood right..?
Here are a couple off the top of my head... or or ?
Maybe something moon/lunar related for the werewolf one..? Dunno about the green color though...
The blood is a tricky point... I'm not really sure where to go on that one. Actual vampire lore is so all over the board with that sort of thing. I mean, vampires trying to stay in control sometimes have to have a source of human blood (blood bank blood, for example, or someone willing to share a limited dose of blood every day), while others avoid blood completely, managing to subsist on real food... Some use alcohol to dull the hunger... Some hunt animals, or use a synthetic version...
So perhaps we should be adding a form of blood, or perhaps we should be avoiding it....
The colors are also tricky. So often with magic spells in theory/films/lore, the magic itself can change the color of a potion when it becomes successful. So it's possible the colors come from the ingredients, but it's just as possible they don't...
:/ Ultimately, I think since we've been given so few clues, and such a broad range of possible items, I think the important thing is that whatever we decide, we give a reason/explanation for it. I'm really not sure if there is a "right" or "wrong" answer on the challenge...

I did do a bit of a search for vampire/werewolf items, and I spotted a few that we may or may not want to throw in:
Often spells in different types of magic require something from the person/type of person they're meant to affect...
On the blood count, there is also this item:
Also, I found this description interesting: So if vampire blood can protect them from the light in Subeta, maybe it SHOULD be used in the potion? Not for vampires... Dunno if that's a warning or a blood bank rule...
On the synthetic blood count:
Also, back to controlling your nature, I spotted this one:
Random mysterious item:
Didn't have much luck finding wolfy items, though...
So, what do we think? I haven't added in any of the items we've suggested from posts 11 through this one, since I'm kind of still waiting for any significant feedback on that...
As far as the hovering is concerned, I believe that is a descriptor that applies to the REAL Coppelias, and not specifically the one that has been cursed/drugged. I think that's just because it is a common description of ballet dancers, even in the real world. :) It has been since the pointe shoe was invented!
Quote about Marie Taglioni, one of the first ballet dancers to use a pointe shoe: "For those who wanted to see music, there was Taglioni; compared to her all dancers look like wire puppets; she simply floats; "

You've made a lot of good points... there's even a good chance that there aren't specific items in the potions and they're basing it solely off of creativity. Really we do have a lot of good options so far, and I love how you put them together a few posts up. ^^ Of the following ones you posted, I really like the idea of using the
I'm torn on the pendant... if it was an actual blood drop it would make more sense... but I'm not sure if an actual pendant would be used in spells? Unless the pendant was infused with the magic... hmm...
I'm not too knowledgable about all the different lores for vampires and werewolves... if we did want to use anything moon/lunar themed for the werewolf potion, maybe this..? It's another gem item... but it also suggests that it's a crystallized tear which sounds magical to me.
Lunar!!! That's a keyword I didn't think to try...
The thing with the ingredients is that not every ingredient necessarily has to go IN. Sometimes, an object like a pendant or a special stone might need to be waved OVER a potion in order to imbue it with some of its magic. So some of these objects, like stones or pendants might be things that would be used over and over again (infinitely often) to make additional batches. of the brew...
Oh, and I meant with the vampiric blood pendant... I don't necessarily mean using the pendant in the potion. But we could comment that just as wearing a drop of vampiric blood in a pendant can protect a vampire, so can consuming some vampire blood in a potion... So I meant it more as a reason why the potion may include some vampire blood
"lun" still didn't find me many items... Bah... Seems like vampires are common in subeta lore, but werewolves, not as much...

I've been trying to avoid CWs but the marble IS a good one... either that one or the lunar tear. I haven't searched "moon" yet because I think that would be a lot to look through. @ I wasn't thinking about the fact that pendants and such could be waved over the brew. I think a touch of vampire blood isn't a bad idea. ^^
Okay guys,so this is what we have so far, with a few updated bits... If there is an item you think I should have added that I didn't, feel free to comment again (I tried to only add items in that people seemed significantly fond of, or in agreement about...). Also, if I included one you DON'T think I should have, let me know.
Otherwise, if no one else shares opinions, this is what I would mail to GreenRowan at the end of the day today...
ingredients in Djoni's (green) werewolf potion
ingredients in Lysandras (red) vampire potion
