Thank you all so much for your patience with me while I was sick. (Not fun, and gave it to hubby! :( ) I also LOVE the sweet little get-well gifts. I am a bit better, and have combined two chapters to keep us on course.

Here, you will need to split up your teams for the storyline (although you may all work together on the challenges) and put at least one member in with the "civilians," one or more to the cauldron with Irella, and at least one into the battle squads with Tanaka of Djoni. You should create a BRIEF RP designating who is doing what.

For the potions, you may use any and all ingredients found on Subeta. Deduce what is in Djoni and Lysandras potions and what effects each has, what potion could have been given to the one human "ringer doll" of the fake Coppelias, and what would be the antidote for her.

For the puzzle, simply solve it. A 4x6 grid is suggested, Lots of blanks are on line or just make your own.

Send the puzzle by smail and post your potion solutions on the story thread!

I'm sorry to hear your hubby is now sick. I hope he's not feeling too poorly.

Are we rping the different sections, or just the determination of who goes where? If our team has only three (or maybe four) characters, should we still split up? Kinda hard to actually rp with just one (though you can still write stories), but I suppose companions and NPCs would help.

Ditto what shylarah asks. What exactly are we RPing? At first I thought it was as simple as designating our team members but then you go on to say we have to figure out potions and cures? Is that to be RP'd as well? My whole team is a little confused. So for us that are logic challenged could you explain this more clearly please?

Okay, clarification on the assignments. These chapters are a set-up for the battle to come in Chapter 10, so your team needs to be assigned to an area and function. For example, if SuziBoozy is your alchemist, it seems probable she would be with Irella, while your bard, OttaToon, would probably join the "civilians." StubbyToe with Tanaka and Djoni, if they have any sort of fighting skills, although none of these guidelines are set in stone! You may mix and match!

Also, no matter who goes where, all the challenges can be solved by the whole team! So make those potion lists.

So all the RP will consist in doing is telling me how your team decided, in character, to take on which role and area. That is all. It does not have to be long.

This came from a multiple player suggestion that I let everyone do everything at once instead of setting up whole chapters with single class missions. That seems to make a great deal of sense with teams the way they are now.

There's no RP on the puzzle, just send it smail.

Hope this helps. I know you tend to overcomplicate things because you are so diligent, but it really is that simple. The tasks are complex emough on their own.

Add a little.. couple of paragraphs or three.. then reload the thread and edit. You'll then be able to add more. Perhaps Subeta just isn't showing the thread they posted yet either? Try getting off subeta then back?

With this sort of fix for the HA challenge, are we to redo our Madi HAs as well?

You all are receiving your bonus 100 for your Madi HA. However if you choose to make the redos and you make another Madi, you will get anopther 100 points for that one. So you can get 200 points for Madi!
