I like adopting new pets. I do have a lot character concepts for mine, but that doesn't mean I won't be inspired by a name I see c: What about you?

Ha ha. I actually am not an adopter. I don't do stories etc. My pets are just self created little brats with personalities.

Takuma I found in the pound statless, now T7, but I wanted this experiment badly - this was before Qrykees became available. Experiment was also sitting there and was too cute to resist. But I am not fond of the name. Probably will adopt him out. Got the least attention - erm - stat eggs, is only T6.

For years I was happy. This autumn I laid eyes on 2 other pets. So I went looking for fairly seasoned battlers, because after all those years I didn't want to start bottle feeding babies again. A nightmare! Turns out I was really lucky to be allowed to adopt Hereditary - and Sensor, which I hadn't planned, but liked an left him the experiment he was. I think they were T2 and T4, but better than nothing.

Thanks to mobile phones I trained them vigorously and now they are slowly becoming usable battlers T8 and T7 after only 10 months, but this also means the end of fast training.

So now I'd still want to find a well trained pet to adopt and then name swap - unless it's a really high tiered pet, then that wouldn't be necessary.

I've pretty much given up hope, though. I'd like to adopt Asar, because the name sounds mystical and sinister, fitting for a Nightmare Serpenth.

I love adopting, but then I also love grabbing pets that have good names and zapping them when I have free slots until they are more desirable. I havent had 'free' space in a while though because I've really been into making pet stories and having more world building characters

I just really love the pet side of subeta in general. Making characters, finding the perfect species and colour combo, working on TCs and profiles and whatnot. I need to work on stories for mine, I just don't really do much writing anymore. They all definitely have personalities though; they just aren't written out haha. (I tend to adopt out the ones that I can't come up with anything for after a fair shot.)

I have a (literal haha) list of pets I want but until the perfect name comes along and something clicks it's more of a "this would be cool!" than anything.

(Which is why I'm still crossing my fingers about Zacarie, I love the sound of it and the name would be perfect for a pet I've wanted for ages but never had any insp for. I don't want to pester the person who made the original ufa board but idk, trying to stay hopeful about it bc that name is really clicking with me!)

I used to write my own stories, but then I found this amazing person to write them for me. I come up with a loose idea and she makes it into this super cool character. I'm just glad that she can work on so little information that I provide.

I also don't battle, but I've been working on Barin. I sold the most expensive weapon I had, cause battling is not my thing. I'm more into creating characters with my pets. So far, I have 23 developed and seven I'm planning. Most of them need art, but it's expensive. Not many users are interested in SP anymore and I'm cutting way down on what I spend on this game (CSC). So, I mostly buy my CSC with SP I've earned.

I only have four slots left and now I have to pick and choose what names I really want.

I also enjoy finding the perfect species/colour too.

Note: Tahira is mine, but I sent her to live with a friend for a year, that's why it looks like she was adopted, but she wasn't. I forget the whole story why she "lived" with someone else lol

Adopting pets is a somewhat recent thing for me. I've been here for almost 11 years, and I only started adopting and zapping pets about 2 years ago. Then I was surprised about the good names that people sometimes pounded (Simona, Celena, Leilana, Everet, Cocoon, Shida, Bixy, ...) are all adopted ones that I zapped and just couldn't let go anymore.

I'm more along the lines of . I'm a battler at heart. Someday I would love to learn how to code and do profile pages for all my babies -- but there wouldn't be much of a story to any of them. I'd be more likely to show off their battle wins!

My 2 latest acquisitions are non-battlers and the last one is UFA. Anyone interested in a galactic mahar named Capricorni? His name made me think of the constellation/astrological sign, so I made him galactic. It was a whim, and I'd rather see him go to a good home. I think having 20+ battle pets is plenty. I need to learn self-control.

I'm an experiment pet fanatic and when I see one with a decent name in the AC, I will adopt them. Or when it's the species I need, but the name is iffy, I don't mind paying 500 csc to rename them. (It's better than buying a Miracle Potion II) I have a few Subeta bookmarks of Pet names from inactive accounts or ones that SHOULD be inactive soon listed. I check them out once in a while to see if they are available or not.

I've been a very passive player on Subeta, so having a nice backstory, profile and TC was not my main goal.
But I have fleshed out some ideas and want to get atleast a decent pet profile going. Kinda awkward having my pets on display on my profile with a plain bg and beginner stats. So I have hidden my pets for now.

Not on Subeta but on a different VP site I like adopting (their pet limit is either high or non existent lol) I'm currently working on stories for my Subeta pets but my inspiration has been lost over the years (I have 0 idea where I was going with all of them)
