Hi guys! I've had these names for awhile, and just kinda lost inspiration for them. :' ( Not really anything remarkable about them other than their names. Any TC items will be cleared, as will their profiles.

Looking for apps on them, but it doesn't really need anything extensive. Will be a little pickier with Jeane.

I think I owned Kari forever ago. o: Both names are tempting. I'll roll 'em around in my head for a bit and see if I can come up with something. If not, good luck adopting out. c:

obviously, it is my intention to get some art for him and build up a more solid story/character! i'm already getting invested and don't want to get my hopes up incase s/he goes to someone else! i'd turn Jeane to male and potentially an Angelic Popoko (those cute horns would be perfect! plus, he's not a bad demon!)
I'm very interested in adopting Jeane. I've been trying not to adopt too many pets recently (ran out of buyable slots sob so I'm down to name changes), but I kept coming back to your board and it's just such a lovely name.
She would end up being name-swapped with my existing pet here. I really love the harvest neela but I've had a tough time coming up with ideas for this guy. However, I made myself sit down and write up a quick draft of a story for her.
I haven't really editted yet so there's probably a million mistakes
She walked through the forest; her forest. Ever so softly, her hooves making barely any noise through the brittle leaves on the ground. She was a ghost in the forest, hidden amongst the trees.
The trees in her forest would often tell her stories; sharing the memories of their long lives. She would listen to every one of them, and while they often repeated stories, each had their own perspective on events.
She nuzzled one tree with her velvety nose, this one was perhaps her favourite out of the whole forest. It wasn’t the oldest, it wasn’t the tallest or the straightest. But it had a unique perspective on the world that she appreciated.
She felt the tree reach out to her mind, and accepted it into her own. The forest immediately turned dark, it was the middle of a storm. The worst the forest had seen in years. Winds buffetted the trees about, while rain pounded their trunks and branches. The small creatures of the forests had sought shelter, but one poor lain hadn’t made it back to it’s nest. It tried helplessly to fly towards its tree, but eventually was thrown back into the trunk of her tree. Luckily, her tree had a small knot that was big enough for a hiding place for the bird.
She retreated from her tree, thanking it for the story. She moved on, aimlessly wandering from tree to tree, each reaching out to her mind trying to speak to her. Some she allowed, some she did not. She saw a small wyllop, running from an noktoa before being snatched up into the air. She saw humans, hiking through the forest. Another human, climbing up one of the trees, breaking its branches carelessly.
Finally, she found herself at the oldest tree in the forest. It was gnarled with age, but it was beautiful in it’s own way. She had tried to listen to its stories so many times, but many of them were so painful she hadn’t been able to listen to the end. Stories of other trees being chopped down around it. The lightning strike that had split it’s trunk so many years ago. And the forest fire. That was the hardest. She had felt the heat, the smoke. Seen the forest creatures running from the flames, some swallowed up if they weren’t quick enough. The aftermath, when the tree had seen its fellows burned to cinders, dead. She couldn’t bear the anguish. But this time, she would try. Perhaps this time, she would finish the story.
As far as me as an owner, I've really hunkered down in the past couple of months and started working on my pets. I'd admittedly not done much on them before that, they all had characters/nice TCs/about half had stories but I hadn't done much in the way of art or profiles. OH BOY HAS THAT CHANGED. I only have about ten completed, but several more have a mishmash of stories/overlays waiting for profiles.
If you want to have a look at my completed pets, they're linked in the text portion of my profile. I'm never really sure who to show off specifically, but I'll go with Meryl, Emmylou and my first spotlight winner (!!!) Heinz.

It's okay, I understand that some people don't like receiving PMs, that's why I wanted to ask beforehand. Thank you for the ping, I almost forgot to respond back to this. My flatmate has been sick with the flu so Ive been helping her with things. Now she's feeling better, but upset I didn't get sick, lol.
Anywhos, the name I am applying for is Kari. I remember this name being up for adoption/raffle before, and expressed interest purely in the name, not for battling. (not mentioning by which username because I think that counts as targeting?) I still want the name haha.
I'll be honest, I'm a tad bit on the lazy side. I'm a bit more of name hoarder than pet spotlight worker, and I absolutely love names that start with K. If I were to receive her, Id change her to an angelic (dawn in the meantime!) feli and make her a fan pet of the digimon character Kari. My first custom wearable purchase was this item due to nostalgia factors, and I wish to be able to use this item towards a fan pet.
I've been a member for a long time so I hope that /does/ show how much I do care for my pers on her, but I totally understand if it's not enough. ^_^

I have been on Subeta for over 6 years. My main interests on Subeta have always been the wardrobe, and working on my pets (commissioning them profiles, coming up with treasure chest themes, finding the perfect minion, etc). I absolutely love "K names" since my real life name is Krystal. Kari has a very cute name, and I would like to create a character for her as well. I'm not 100% sure yet which route I would like to go with that, but one of my best ideas for her is a sweet middle aged woman who works full time at the Adopt-R-Us. She loves all the other pets and is very determined to find them all homes. Her hobby is knitting and sewing toys for the baby pets, which would tie in with her crafty TC theme. I would most likely change her to a Kumos, Kerubi, or Chai, since they are my favorite species. For the color, I'm leaning towards Angelic, to match her personality. Pets that I am most proud of are: Milk With Biscuits, Lilyana, Kayla, Common, and Didda, but they are all in various stages of being worked on, and I am attached to them all. Hi, I finally decided to apply for Jeane. I really love the name. Jeane is so elegant and simple. Though I might have to admit to being a bit biased in that Jean Grey was always my favorite X-men. Plus X-men was my favorite comic growing up!
Anyways, I do like giving my pets all their own stories (though some of my pets occupy the same story). I suppose the most complex story line is Sophi’s and Clegg’s story, but it is still a WIP getting the story onto all the pet profiles. My master plan is to have the story span multiple pet profiles depending on which the pet’s part in the story. However other pets have profiles and stories also. Please check out Waterfalls, Echeyakee, Sophi, and Cringer for examples.
My Plans for Jeane: I think I’d like her to be a Noktoa (perhaps Reborn, but I dunno, I love Storm and Nuclear too) or a Neela.
I imagine Jeane as a physics loving witch (I got the idea from googling Jeane. I misread psychic for physics), but I imagine she is accomplished in all subjects though. She’ll be a bit of a rival to Ambient in the family setting.
I imagine her to be poised, polished, a bit condescending to people who don’t live up to her ‘almost impossibly’ high standards, and talented; however, Jeane does tend to be a bit indecisive, have trouble communicating/knowing her feelings, and a tendency to give in to her sweet tooth. But who can say no to a frappe?
In Jeane’s world, witches and warlocks pledge their services to their king. Jeane was one of the first to pledge her services to the newborn prince when she was only five, going against her Auntie’s direct wishes. But he was such a sweet looking baby…Jeane couldn’t resist. Only twenty years later, he’s grown up to be quite the spoiled jerk. And Jeane has gotten most of her powers locked away due to a tricky curse.
I imagine a story line along the lines of Howl’s Moving Castle… only the Prince has been turned into a young child instead of an old man. And Jeane is trying to help him unlock his curse, yet having trouble locking her own. How can someone who can’t unlock her own curse even begin to help her Prince?
I’d love to expound on the story more, but I feel like that’d get to be too long for an app. I hope everything made sense. Thank you for the time and patience.
