I haven't done anything in the Coda Caves for ages (literally a few years-- ever since I made Fraulein Galactic back in 2012) so I thought I'd check it out on a whim and see if I could make Madchen Galactic. I didn't get enough crystals and I have other long term plans for Madchen so I don't want to bother buying all the ones I need and assumed that, similar to how Marana is now, the quest would expire after the caves closed. Went to check and it seems like the quest is still active and I see no way to quit. Should I suck it up, buy all the crystals I'm missing, and finish the quest so I'm not locked in in the future or is there a way to quit it/will the quest expire by, say, this time next month?

Sorry if this is a well known thing/answered elsewhere, I'm back from a long hiatus and feel a bit like a newbie all over again haha~

oh wow, i guess there still is no way to quit those, is there... yeah, i'd say just go ahead and buy the remaining crystals (they're really cheap) and make the pet galactic now before you invest in changing color/species. i'm surprised this is still a thing, though - people have been asking for the option to quit iltallo quests for years.

Ah well, thank you for letting me know! I wasn't sure if anything had changed since I last did one and wanted to ask to make sure I wasn't missing anything. I'll go ahead and do that to be safe. Thank you!
