This thread was created on August 6th 2017 - Over two years ago as of today (9/25/19)! We have made a lot of progress and seen many changes in the gap of the richest user and us minions trying to catch up.

I have removed any data collected which is over 12 months old since it is most likely this is inaccurate now. I will aim to keep all data within a 12 month range going forward as well.

I know there was a "what is your rank?" type thread, but I can't recall any top RU's posting in there recently with rank and numbers.

What exactly am I searching for?

Numbers to help some of us out.

I started pooling together some data for myself and friends whom are saving sP and working towards personal goal.s We noticed a huge gap between the top ranks in sP and are trying to determine exactly how big the gap is.

For example:

Rank ) 52,085,197,36 Rank ) 7,227,914,181 Rank ) 2,081,592,756

Although I am mostly searching for data between ranks 1-25, I would like to be able to fill in some gaps between 26-189 as well.

I am sure you noticed the massive gap between 1-26 which is where my friend has been aimlessly hanging out for awhile with no clue how far she has to go to climb up.

Since not everyone may want to "advertise" how much sP they have on hand feel free to smail me, have a friend comment (don't need usernames, just ranks and numbers!), or use another source you can think of to get the message out.

9/16/17 - The 16th user as of today's date used a brilliant idea. They sent an anonymous gift with their rank and sP info. Putting this here in case you have no others means to contact anonymously but would still like to contribute!

We need exact numbers so please don't post "oh my friend was at like 11 and had around X amount last month." We are trying to chart as accurately as possible to establish our goals.

We got some really useful responses today. I want to thank everyone who has participated so far. It feels nice having targeted goals that aren't as crazy at the top user's amount, haha. At least these can help us feel like it is more obtainable <3

We have some interested info between the 16th and 17th user - note there is almost 1 billion sP difference. I know with my own questing habits (when I keep them up) that is about 1 year of savings. Wow!

are you still working on this? If so, my rank has changed since I last told you.

I did get the original data I was looking for, but I still have no problem keeping track as it is an interesting data set :D

I have been chasing richest user for almost 8 years. My ultimate goal to reach it without working with a group but to be the richest user. Then blow some sP so someone else can reach the top.

I posted. I hope they don't retire it. :( I also have the same plan as you, though I wouldn't really be against working with a group either.

just read yours too and I agree with a lot of what you said, the main reason I get to know other parts of the site and stay so involved is for this achievement. I don't think I would have gotten into the site so much if it didn't exist.
