Okay, so I'm clearly a conservative and I got one of those warnings due to be sharing conservative ideas on someone else's topic. So I've decided to create a place for the few quiet, often censored group that we have become. I hope I'm not the only one...

If you are here to fight us or argue, that's not what this is for. It's not a debate or a place to attack people for either side. Just share conservative ideas and values in a respectful way!

Yeah it's awful when someone comes to a thread and starts arguing and being disrespectful to others. :'(

My conservative views are that conserving water, energy, and other resources is extremely important. We all must do our part to slow down the process of human-caused climate change. Animal sanctuaries and strict hunting laws are also very important parts of resource conservation!

I respect your ideas, I did intend political conservatism, but we definitely do need to be environmentally conscious. Thanks for that add in.

When you talk politics, there's bound to be debates. This is especially true when your viewpoints are different from the majority of the user base. Plus, there a difference between discussing something peacefully and outright attacking people for who they are. I fear the latter will become the case with this thread.

This thread is going to end badly... very badly.

If anyone does attack someone, we report them. Freedom of speech is a human right and I'm not about censoring free speech or myself. Just because we fear it might happen doesn't mean we should let that fear censor a section of the population. That's fascist.

Why not make a private ping group for your conservative ideas? Other users sharing your side of things can interact with you without having to report anyone. Because this is going to turn badly. Fascism, really? Subeta isn't a dictature but an online community composed of diverse people where conflicts are bound to happen. Freedom of speech is a very big figure of speech.

I think that I'm doing the right thing by exposing people to ideas that are outside of their little bubble and giving a platform for people to safely say what they think. I don't think it's fair that people can on the left do so without fear of being attacked personally, and in some cases physically (see the riots from ANTIFA and more against Milo Yiannopoulos (had to be rushed off of UC Berkeley campus), Gavin McInnes (pepper sprayed unprovoked), and Lauren Southern (had urine thrown on her) simply trying to exercise their freedom of speech.)

Unfortunately, I don't share the same ideas that you have. I'm not going to invalidate your opinion, but I'm exposing you as well to something else.

nobody is trying to censor different opinions... they're telling you to stop spreading hate speech and disrespecting others' identities...

This isn't the place for leftist ideology. It's for conservative ideas, so yeah. I'm going to start with one such conservative idea here: there are only 2 genders. This isn't hate speech, it's scientific fact. If someone can point to how that's hate speech, please do so. It appears that "hate speech" is so badly general, no one can really define it. I'm going to challenge you to tell me what it is objectively, and you can't just tell me what you disagree with is, since I could do the same.
