Riddles solved, you sit back to see what unfolds in the glass. A tour of the Voices yields nothing from Staffs and Sun, while Moons reveals the same scene of the lost Faerie village under a tree that Chiasa discovered. However, it is not Chiasa who approaches, but a little girl with flowers. She is in old-fashioned garb, and you can see no more than her feet, stockings, and skirt, but you estimate she must be just about Tamara's age.

Her care as she lays the flowers out to trim the village is evident, and you wonder what became of the little faerie lover. Somehow, you feel it would be important to know.

Blades yields a more relevant result. King Magnus is speaking with Lysandra. Their faces are serious indeed. "This is more than a simple political assassination. Baltar changed recently. Something or someone affected him. It's not just a border dispute."

"No, nephew," replies Lysandra, "you are correct. I remember you as a babe. You were an old soul even then, and very aware of all our lineages. Werewolves unable to resist the most violent changes, and the spears of ghostfire in the forest? This is all the work of someone, but who, and where."

"Would ghostfire destroy even you?" he asks softly.

"If the hit was direct enough, I suspect it might. None of us are actually immortal, though. To one who missed both turning and lycan cursing, you might see us as ever lasting, but we are not. Only the potions sustain us and make us able to live peacefully in your world. We are not free of all our urges, but we manage."

She raises her champagne glass filled with a sparkling red liquid in a toast. "Masters of Alchemy, they are our salvation. But, the threat of the ghostfire lingers. What if there is one who is not?"

The glass slowly darkens in a whirl of beakers and mists, and Irella cried. "Not enough! You have shown too little. One more image."

The beakers fade away and the mist dissolves once more into a whirl of...skirts? They fluttered in rainbows of colors, looking as if they were dancing on the breeze.

"How pretty," Larianne murmurs softly. "But what does it mean?"

"I know not," Irella answers, "and the glass has gone dark. It has been a long day. We should rest and see what tomorrow brings.

The morning makes things considerably brighter. The castle gardens are beautiful and the food almost as good as Winton's.

You have barely finished a delicious brunch, where Tamara comes running in, fairly bursting with excitement, and tosses herself in her father's arms.

"Papa! You did it! You brought them."

Magnus chuckles. "I got tired of Karel panicking because you have run off to Wolfenhague to see them. Besides, we deserve a real festival. The troupe from the Gearwork Goose is arriving as well."

"Who's coming?" Clytie asks.

"The Coppellias!" Madi shrieks, nearly deafening her father. They're just the best! They just...float! Papa, may I wear my costume?"

"All right, child."

"And my makeup?"

"Daughter..."

"Please, please. I have to look the part. Please, Papa, please!"

Well, you can guess where this argument is headed. More intriguing to you is the idea of a dance troupe that floats. You recall the last image in the glass, and decide it warrants more attention.

How to best fit in? Why, costumes of course. Look like Coppellias and you can wander freely anywhere.

Garrin decided that he wanted to dress as one of the magicians who animates the dolls and gives them life to dance. He put on as much makeup as his heart could take while Coda watched fro the distance and made fun of him the entire time. it was quite easy to make snide comments about him though, as he continually applied the blush and eye liner incorrectly.

COPPELIA WHO??

"Coppellias huh?" Jeice cried. "I hate dressing up!" Atrueheart pats her on the shoulder and says "I know hon but we'll help." Atrueheart looks around at the eager faces of the rest of her team and states "Ok, let's get started. We've been provided with all kinds of makeup, wigs and costumes so I'm sure we can find something that works in these."

Jinx eyes twinkled with delight as she began digging through the items with her team. "Well I love to play dress up so this is going to be fun." Kestra picking up a pink curly wig moaned "Me too but I don't think this is my color." Then she nudges Jinx and points at Jeice and they both burst into laughter. Jeice is having a hard time figuring out how to put tights on and cursing under her breath. "Here you go Jeice!" Kestra states as she throws the pink wig to her. With a look of horror on her face Jeice quickly dodges the horrid wig. A bad idea when you are struggling to put tights on as she falls onto her butt with the tights tangled around her legs. "Trueeeeee! You can't be serious about this?" she wails. "I am NOT wearing a wig!" The rest of the Fallen Angels roar with laughter at the dismayed look of horror on Jeice' face.

Atrueheart swallows her laughter with a hiccup and soothes Jeice as she helps her up. "Don't worry sweetie. You don't have to wear a wig if you don't want to." But I'm afraid you will have to wear a little bit of makeup." she says as she hands Jeice a costume and some ballet shoes. Jeice grabs them and mumbling under her breath "Rangers don't wear Wigs and Makeup!" she allows Jinx to show her how to put tights on one leg at a time. Looking around with a glare, Jeice warns the other Angels... "Just one of you laughs when I'm finished I'm gonna scrub it all off and go as me!"

Hethlic looks scepticly at them all and is muttering "This must be what the gentry does for fun. I've never dressed up in my life!" Pulling out a dress that pleases the eye holds it against himself and sighs. "They seem to have misplaced the men's clothing." Shaking his head he selects a wig and looks at Atrueheart. "Gonna need a hand with this makeup stuff." he states as he moves off behind a screen to get dressed. "I can help you Hethlic!" Calie speaks up, already dressed and working on her hair. "I love to dress up as well!"

Kestra tosses a yellow and purple streaked wig to Atrueheart who has already selected her dress. "This should match True!" Neatly grabbing the wig out of mid air, Atrueheart smiles appreciatively. "It's perfect and it should hide this outrageous red hair of mine too!" Quickly slipping behind a screen Atrueheart rapidly dresses and steps out to see if any of her Angels need help. Jeice is arguing with Calie as she is slathering makeup on her face and talking Hethlic through applying his. Jinx twirls showing off her completed costume and claps her hands. "We all look wonderful!" she exclaims. Jeice growls at her tugging on her tights and trying to wipe some of the makeup off. Calie smacks her hand and then turns to Hethlic who is finally all finished with the makeup. "You make a beautiful girl Hethlic!" she says with a smile.

"Alright then Angels!" Atrueheart says inspecting her team. "Looks like we are all ready to go and not a minute too soon either." She shoos her team toward the door where someone is waiting to escort them to the festival. As they are heading to the festival she admonishes Jeice "Quit tugging at that dress and your tights! You look fine Jeice!" Jeice shoots Atrueheart a dirty look and mumbles under her breath "I'll get you for this True!" Atrueheart just laughs as she ushers her team off to the festival.

"Wait?" Lovecraft looks at her teammates. "We need to dress as whats?"

"Coppelia or as her creator, Coppelius," Reaper replies.

"Explain what those are?" Tea_Roll looks more confused then normal.

"Coppelia is a dancing doll," Kaiidth answers, "And Coppelius is the creator."

"I'm not sure how much longer I am going to be of help," Springjoy quickly utters, "It is almost time for MY creation to arrive."

"I could still be a good babysitter," Witchy mutters under her breath while taking a puff of rainbow, then she grins, "Ohhhh!!! RAINBOW! They better be giving some out at this affair. Then we could Rainbow SpringJoy's Creation!"

"Great!" Lovecraft says, "They just had to use the word Rainbow around Witchy."

"Lets get started on our outfits," TerrenaAnimula veers them back on track. "Is anyone going to do Madi?"

Witchy looks at Terrena with wide eyes. "I don't swing that way" she says.

"I don't get it,' says Tea, "Swing what way?"

Reaper pats her on the head. "Maybe when you are older we will tell you."

Everyone else starts to laugh as they head into the wonky wardrobe area.
