After losing on my forth try I got this message:

BUT! I was on my forth round. The shell before I got this message:

Those two match perfectly! Great job! You have had 3 correct guesses in a row!

You current daily win streak is 3 correct guesses.

You receive 2,401 sP for selecting the right seashell!

:/ I don't mind losing, but shouldn't it keep consistent with the guesses?

doesn't that just keep track of how many times you win in a row? if you lose one, it resets it to 0

I have no idea . Should it not say, reset to 0? I'm unsure. I don't normally play this game.

So yeah, if you win once, your win steak is 1. if you win again, it'll go up to 2. if you lose on your third play, even though you've won twice prior, your "streak" will be reset to 0. The losing message could be more articulate probably, but I think it's working correctly :)

Actually don't lock this yet, I would like to look into it a bit because I'm thinking your original thought was correct. I need a day or two to verify though, I'm kinda busy at the moment.

i think it's correct as-is? once you lose a round, your 'winning streak' is reset to 0. you had 3 correct guesses in a row, and technically you still do have 3 correct guesses in a row plus one incorrect guess, but for the sake of keeping score (and achievements), your correct guess streak is back to 0.

Yup, the only reason that counter matters is for Shell-Shocked, the achievement for the game.

It's just the wording that's off. Not the counter/programming.

and are correct. Thank you. I agree that the wording is confusing, because it's been a year since I played Seashell Spotter and I got confused reading this lol.

If you have any suggestions for improving the wording, please let me know, cuz it's just a text change so if other staff members like your wording suggestion then it's very easy to change it :)
