I need a recommendation for good, affordable veterinary care in NYC! Any ideas?? My cat is having a tooth problem :/

I'm sorry to hear about your kitty's tooth issue :( While I don't know what's specifically available in your area, you might try calling to your local humane societies and ask for their advice. Sometimes they have low cost or free services, or they can refer you to someone. It's a good place to start, and it's better (and cheaper) to move quickly on this type of thing. My parents' cat had a tooth problem a while ago (he had to have a tooth removed), and my cat also had gum problem (which we thankfully caught in time and were able to cure with medication).
