some of you sent your love, gifts, & well-wishing to me as long ago as in may, and some of you i've spoken to more recently-- but i don't think that i ever properly or at least adequately thanked most of y'all for your support of me through the rough time i've been having so far this year. some of you i have, and i'm pretty sure none of y'all need to be thanked, but it's meant a lot to me and i just deeply need to express that. i wish that i were better-equipped to say it more personally and individually to each of you, but that is not a skill or strength i've ever possessed, least of all right now.
but from the depths of my heart: thank you all for your love, attention, friendship, and care. the gifts & messages i'd gotten during my hiatus were overwhelmingly generous, not to mention the amount of softness and positivity i've been receiving now that i'm trying to get back into being more active. i'm sorry for the brevity of this but i hope it's still as sincere as i mean it to be-- i'm struggling to put into words how much it's meant to me to come back and see just this unrelenting support from people. it's meant more than i think y'all can know; the world felt very, very small for me for a while.
as for how i'm doing-- definitely better than i was. i don't want to bog this down with the details, but if anyone is curious i'm happy to field any curiosity over smail, whether about how i'm doing or how i was doing or whatevs.
