For those who do not know or possibly need reminding, I am Agilbert Fontaine, headmaster of this school. I am glad to see returning Ilvermorny students, as well as some new students.

Ilvermorny students and staff, I hope you will join me in making our Hogwarts and Alexandrian Academy students feel welcome here. For the next couple of months, this school will be everyone's home, and I expect it to feel as such. I also expect all students to be on their best behavior while the tournament is going on.

Which brings me to what gathers here today. Tomorrow is the start of the Triwizard Tournament! So put your best foot forward, and good luck to each school! To celebrate our schools coming together for this exciting event, our head chef Bianca Thomas has put together a rather extravagant feast!

Ebele walked into the buffet room and stopped in her tracks. Her feet were suddenly lead weights as she stared at the smorgasbord of foods displayed. She swallowed hard and looked around the room, scanning for the Queen or King who must be in attendance, yet the room was almost empty. She saw only a small group of 4 or 5 students at one of the many tables in the vast dining room. 'Surely this much food requires great noble ones and cannot be for us alone,' she thought while a dizzy sensation rested in her head. The room swaying led her to exhale the breath that she'd been restraining.

She finally made her way in the room, settling in a chair and inhaled deeply of all the aromas floating aimlessly around. Ebele could almost see each individual smell as they floated and wafted over tabletops, cascading down to the floor like great waterfalls. The dry dessert of empty tables and floors now seemed covered in an array of flowers, mountains, and beautiful lush landscapes.

The room couldn’t have been more alive to Ebele as she closed her eyes taking in the extravagant beauty of the foods. Suddenly there was a swirl of air, mixing the colorful scents together. Ebele opened her eyes and saw that many students had entered the room and more could be seen in the hallway also heading in to partake in the feast.

The scents took on mischievous qualities as they all called out to her, begging to be sampled. As the aromas all intermingled Ebele smiled and stood, walking towards the ocean of food. She scanned the table that displayed all the different food options and decided that she would try one bite of most of the savory dishes.

She surrounded to the pleading of the delicate scents and delved into her first taste of life as a somebody worth feeding.
