If you pick a certain pet to zap..it wont zap another at random right? Also, can it zap csc, or sp? Can it zap locked items?

It will only zap the pet that you select. As far as I know, it can't affect sP or CSC, but it can zap items in your inventory that are unlocked. Locked items should be safe though.
