Any chance we'll get to see the wedding guest book soon? I've been excited to see the well wishes since the end of May, when the wedding event ended, but there's be no further developments or information as far as I'm aware. I hope the idea hasn't been scrapped cos I wanted to see the outpouring of love from the community!

Oh yeah, weren't some of the entries supposed to be posted publicly? I kind of forgot about that, but it would still be cool to see them if they aren't lost.

It hasn't been scrapped! There were over 2,000 entries that we've been going through (so many heartfelt ones). We originally were just going to grab a few and put it in the book, but we're discussing maybe flipping through pages to see more etc because soooo many.

Oh oh oh! Make it a series of books! :) Each book having a bunch of the guestbook snippets in it that we can flip through and read. Maybe release a new volume every month? Ooooh like a magazine!

Sorry to ping... ;;

Maybe sort the message alphabetically? It would be lovely to read all the heartfelt messages from the Subeta community. and, I hope there is no trolling around this. Love should always be celebrated, no matter who is doing the loving.

The staff will delete them, as they should, that kind of hate shouldn't have any kind of platform. But we are talking about the internet here and there are a lot of teenagers on the site. I can promise there are some trollish messages that were sent. I just have a streak of morbid curiosity that makes me want to see lol

Well you are certainly right! I would like a peek at them myself, just to see how st**id some folks are.

Okay, a disclaimer, just in case. What follows in the spoiler is my personal opinion, I'm speaking for myself as a subeta player/a human being. I do not speak for Subeta nor am I speaking as a staff member or for any other staff members.

SPOILER (click to toggle) Here is my stance on homophobic / "troll" comments.

It isn't a matter of politics to know that writing something homophobic in Emma and Esther's guestbook is an extremely disrespectful - and frankly, downright nasty - thing to do. Personally, if you do such a thing and I see it, sorry-not-sorry but I'm going to remember you as a shitty person unless you own up to it and change.

Anyway, I did notice that we have this site-wide rule that says: "Do not discriminate or display discriminatory actions or behavior on the basis of gender, race, color, ethnicity, disability, religion, or sexual orientation." So I am really hoping that we punish these users (with an official warning or more).

To be completely honest here, that is one of those rules I would be happy to see be a zero-tolerance thing for Subeta. Like, one strike and you are banned. Come back in a year if you're ready to leave the hate behind, otherwise please leave forever, you are NOT welcome here.

I agree with everything you wrote. That is one rule that should have VERY severe consequences.
