I'm trying to decide on species and color for Kuranes. He's a character who appears in a couple of H. P. Lovecraft's Dream Cycle stories who really captured my imagination ❤

His basic story: he was born in Cornwall, England, and when he was a kid, he dreamed about a beautiful city. He spent the rest of his life trying to get back to that city in his dreams. He finally finds it again and becomes king of it and another city in the dream world... but his body dies in the real world, so he can't ever go back. He comes to realize that the Cornwall of his childhood was where he was truly happiest, and even though he recreates it in the dream world, it's never quite the same.

So anyway! I'm looking for a pet who looks regal and friendly, but also kinda sad? lol a tall order, I know. I have a loyalty box, so I'm open to any species and color! My initial plan was to make him angelic, because he's dead and all, but the art on so many angelic pets is so outdated :(

P.S. TC and minion suggestions are welcome too, if you feel like it! I have a couple other pets who inhabit this 'verse so I already have some ideas, but I haven't had time to sit and think through Kuranes's items yet.

I feel the Glacier Antlephore & Hipottu have that sad, melancholic air about them. Regal makes me think Archan, but none of their colors really have that feel, to me.

Ooh I agree with both of those Glacier pets, especially fond of the Antlephore! I could do an overlay to tweak the colors too.

Yeah I thought about an Archan for him, but I'm not crazy about the species. And the Glacier one just looks annoyed, lol.

The Galactic Mahar really captures my attention.

I adore the Reborn Telenine! He has that poignant look to him that I'm searching for. I've wanted a Telenine for ages too, so that might be a good option. Thanks for the suggestions ❤
