I seem to have obtained a Red Special Coin. What are these used for?

Keep in mind, it's a complete gamble as to what you'll get. Usually, if the coin is 50K or more in user shops, I'll just sell it, as I've rarely ever gotten anything from the machine worth more than that.

Do either of you know if there is a list somewhere of the possible items that could come from the machine?

SubetaLodge has a list of coin machine-specific items, but it's also possible to get other random items (I've gotten elixirs, random foods, and plushies, for example).

You can also get sP from the machine sometimes, but it's usually not very much.

I'm pretty sure your pet can randomly gain a stat too, from the coin machine.

There is a topic here where people post what the coin machine gave them! You can check it out to see the possibilities. It is definitely a gamble though and most of the time you won't win big. Centropolis Coin Machine: What did you vend?

I had no idea what these coins were for, I had been keeping them in my vault because I KNEW They were for something... hah! Thanks for the info guys! I had 8 or 9 coins saved up, 3 were duds, the rest I got items that theoretically are worth more than the coin :3

Myself, I've only gotten a few coins and sold most of them in my shop, and I don't even remember what I got out of the machine on the one or two I did use... O.O Must not have been important.

"theoretically" based on what their current shop sale value is... but that number can fluctuate (sometimes dramatically), so when i try to sell the prizes, I might not actually get say, 60k for them, it might only sell for 45k. It is sometimes a volatile market, though things seem to be stabilizing now after that questathon

: Gotcha. Yeah, that's sometimes problematic with just about every item. Sometimes they're high, sometimes they're really low. Events do tend to shift the market, so there are plenty of times when it's better to just sell the Coin rather than sell the item you got from it.
