(: My name's Rebekka, I'm 27 years old and I left Neopets to join Subeta <3 I always loved the pet designs, but I couldn't force myself to play two games of the same kind, and since I got my dreampets on Neo, it took me some time to finally decide to move to Subeta. Uhm... yeah, sorry for my bad English btw, I am from Germany, living in Austria now with my boyfriend. I like roleplaying, WoW, League of Legends, animals, drawing, Anime and... usually all creepy, gory stuff. I'd be glad to find some friends here to enjoy playing Subeta together (:

Hi, I also came from Neopets. I was getting so frustrated with how slow the site was so I decided to try out Subeta and I love it! I like how you can have more than 4 pets per account. I felt awkward owning two Neopets accounts just so one could hold my extra pets.

I'm 29 and from Canada. The only thing we seem to have in common is I also like anime but I prefer k-dramas/other Asian dramas. If you want to chat about Neopets I'd love to hear what you think about the site or anything else you'd like to talk about. I used to frequent the subreddit for neopets, did you ever join it?

nice to meet you! Yes, I hated the limited space of Neopets aswell. I just don't like to have a second account just for holding.... except of that I didn't like the way neomails and forum messages were censored. I'm really, really happy I gave Subeta another chance, even with my poor english. It's absolutely awesome, just as the community. I've never heard of subreddit for neopets tho.... may I add you on Subeta?

I used to frequent the subreddit for Neopets as well! But I also quit Neopets and moved to Subeta because it had been going downhill for a long time tbh... I like Subeta a million times more :)

YES! The neomails and forums being censored so you can't even say the word grape... I'm glad you came back as well! And yes, please feel free to add me :) I find this community generally less toxic than Neopets as well. Also, your English is great.

Hi! Yes, Neopets definitely been getting worse and worse. I was hoping with them getting bought by Jumpstart that things would change but... :/ The subreddit for Neopets was really fun for me at first but some people there have massive egos and it turned me away. If someone said anything opposite of what any well-known users thought they would get downvoted heavily and harrassed :( What made you decide to move to Subeta? Was it one big reason or just an accumulation of little ones?

Neopets was just completely broken. People getting frozen for no reason, and Neopets staff doing a terrible job responding to tickets. There were captchas everywhere, pages were super laggy, and yeah... There was also unnecessary censorship on the forums there... A ton of things. And new content was slowing too and the new items and stuff weren't even exciting.

Subeta's better because like... the staff actually care and are communicative (tickets get assigned and responded to immediately), there's holidays and events and plots all the time, awesome new content all the time, and on top of that the art is absolutely gorgeous :D Also it helps that we can be adults here. Like, on Neopets, the censorship is really ridiculous, Subeta's definitely better for an older player base.

Yes, I love the grown up feel of Subeta and I agree the art is beautiful! I was surprised by how much is going on here. It was a lot to take in at first but I absolutely love it. I actually heard about Subeta on the Neopets subreddit :P I'm so happy to hear about tickets being quickly taken care of here. I had one ticket that wasn't addressed for a whole year on Neopets. It was about NC so I thought I'd get a response quickly. Nope, they fixed my issue but by then I had already been on Subeta for 6 months and didn't want to go back. I still miss Neopets as I put a lot of time and money into it but I am happier here :)

I'm glad we all found Subeta :3 It's my second day here now and I only met incredible friendly and nice people. I love the possibility to do custom overlays for the pets; that makes them so much better than Neopets, who looked - even when dressed - all the same. I'm already so addicted :'D Just joined the Subeta Discord Channel for easier chatting.

I love how different the pets look when a potion is used on them. The different poses and subtle details really makes them unique. I haven't done anything with custom overlays but I'm glad it's an option for when I want. What is Subeta Discord Channel? Is it on Subeta or offsite?

Discord is a free voice and text chat app for gamers and created a channel for Subeta. It's a really comfy and easy to handle app, maybe you're interested (: And yes! The pet artwork of Subeta is on a way higher level than Neopets. The colors are amazing!
