Hi!

Slightly confused, would love some clarification.. so, I saw the hydrus legeica announcement and I haven't stopped wishing for one ever since. Problem is, whenever I go to the Omen Islands (I have full access) I can't find Merana. Or when I just enter the link into the URL it says merana is nowhere to be found. Am I missing something here? How do I turn a pet hydrus? Where is Merana? :o

Hi, awhile ago Merana, due to subeta plot and lore related events, moved off of Omen island. You will now see her floating about the subeta world map for I believe 12 hours a time beginning and ending on the hour. It is random what days she will appear though. If you click on her when you see her on the map, you can begin the hydrus quest as always, but you have to complete it in the 12 hour window.

No problem! Also, if you'd like help to keep an eye out for Merana there is a ping group Here, at which people alert each other that they have spotted Merana. This allows you to have an early jump on questing for her, or just to give you the heads up she's there if you don't frequent the explore page too much. Good luck on getting a hydrus pet!
