Okay so overlays are a thing but what's the extent of "changes" when it comes to overlays? Like, I mean if I have a chibi feli but I want to overlay it with a scribble feli (but modified), is that allowed? or having a steamwork pet but changed it to a matroshka/kokeshi doll design. I'm not sure where to read the rules about alteration but if anyone could give a "guide" about overlay changes (or limit to how much alterations you can do), that'd be be great!

you can do as many/little changes as you want when it comes to overlays the only real rule is that you can't misrepresent the pet, so if you have a chibi feli and use an unaltered scribble feli that's a no, but as long as there's some change it's fine! c:

if you then want to pay 500 csc and upload it as a custom overlay (so it appears around site, replacing your pet image) the rules can be found here hopefully that was useful! ; v ;

Along with the no misrepresenting your pet, I would make sure that on their profile you at least still include your username, the pet's name, and the pet's actual color and species so that it doesn't seem like you're trying to hide anything about what the pet is supposed to be. 😊
