I keep making characters with face covers so it's never 100% obvious if they're anthro enough for an overlay, so I'd like your guys opinion! This is (a wip) for my pet Heatwave (Reborn Cadogre), and given as they're supposed to be wearing a space suit type thing I'd rather not draw them with the helmet off whilst on the bike. They have human-like proportions, but that's as far as it goes. Digitigrade feet, no human facial features.

Not to worry if you do think it's too human! If so, I'll leave it as profile-only artwork whilst I (probably) make a quad design for the overlay c:

I also hope the profile is working well for anyone who wants to see! It's animated so there's more of a chance of things going wrong between browsers :x

i would say it's fine either way since i feel like i've seen a lot of profiles with regular old humans on them in the pet spotlight (i mean, a lot of the recent ones were fanpets, but the point stands). also i wouldn't call your lady human 'cause those are not regular people teeth (and maybe this is a strange thing to say but i love them, they are excellent teeth); that's just my opinion tho. hopefully more knowledgeable people drop in at some point for that part.

i just wanted to poke my head in and say that the animated background works just fine for me and is very neat, but your text is longer than the description box and your treasure doesn't scroll x: i'm on safari and i know that causes some issues with subeta, so it might be a browser issue but i'm never 100% sure

Thank you! I only ask as the rules for uploading an image as an onsite pet overlay require it to be quad or anthro only and I've been caught out before with a masked pet with human proportions/clothes (I plan to to re-draw him maskless though!)

I knew about the text issues, but the positioning/style/etc for it is in the process of being changed, so no worries there!

I did not know about the treasure not moving at all - it's not supposed to scroll at the moment as I was experimenting with having it animate/automatically scroll up and down but if that's not working I can take a look. Although to be fair, it's something I decided a while ago was better suited on a different pet, so it will probably also be removed :v

The foot, teeth, and slight muzzle might make it anthro enough, depends on the person who sees it if they accept or deny it. The auto scroll TC works for me btw. ^^

ooh, ok -- i got confused since you said you'd be doing a separate quad one, i thought this one was always going to be profile-only and wasn't going to be submitted for review o: like said it's probably going to be up to who reviews it.

and since the auto-scroll works for beer (and me when i swap to firefox) then it probably is a browser issue, and you're likely fine since i think safari isn't widely used on subeta p:

Oh that's my terrible wording aha, apologies! (I've changed it in the OP so hopefully it's a little more clear) And brilliant for the TC animation - I still might get safari to see if I can make it work, however.
