Since there seems to be a few people on here in long distance relationships I thought I should maybe try and bring up the topic (totally not because me and my boyfriends anniversary is in like 20 days or anything at all). What are some good long distance relationship anniversary presents that don't involve flying one person to the other? So many sites and people that I've talked to have just gone with that as the go to present and honestly there's probably a lot of us that can't afford to fly over our babus (like me the stereotypical broke college student with a ramen fund). What are some presents that you got your significant other for your ldr anniversary? What are some things you set up to celebrate your anniversary, if you did celebrate together?

I baked cookies a lot for my husband when he was in Korea haha, I've also made him several things. One of my favorites that he got me was a plant - (I love plants), but it was also super nice to be able to take care of it and always thought of my husband (then boyfriend) when I did c:

i'm not in a ldr anymore, but i was for almost two and a half years. i'm in australia and he was in the states so the easiest thing for us was to buy something off amazon or other online sites and ship it to each other directly rather than buying something locally and then sending it. i got him a box set of the mortal instruments books and some clothes he wanted for christmas / anniversaries. we'd always send each other valentine's day cards too. usually to 'celebrate' the actual day we'd just watch a movie together or something (our anniversary was on jan 1st so it was sometimes a day or two after the actual date we'd do something proper together).

but yeah i'd just think of things he'd talked about wanting and get him those. or if your partner likes a particular series or something then something related to that!! also - cards you've written on are always good, i find. something physical to hold on to and idk something about seeing another person's handwriting feels really personal to me?

hope that helps spark something!

ramen noodle fund? hello yes that's me

we don't celebrate anniversaries, but our birthdays are right next to each other !! so i always make sure we doin something cute and special my boyfriend lives in a different state aNd we are both pretty busy uni students, so we don't get to see each other on our birthdays, but i always make sure to send him some gaming related stuff because we are both avid gamer nerds. this year I also included a little card and wrote down all my favourite moments with him so far, he got a kick out of that. :P we usually spend the day watching movies or playing games, (over skype/discord, that is).

(also, hope the OP had a nice anniversary with their bf!!!)

When my husband and I did long distance (he was at the Air Force Academy) our anniversary was kept simple. I would usually send him a care package, or just a letter, and maybe we would talk on the phone or video chat f he was at his parents home. We were both super broke so we could barely afford things, but even the simplest gift be it home made would make him happy. I know some other people would find a local bakery or even order pizza for him/her who would deliver to them. I never did that but I know a lot of people loved doing that.
