They turn wishlist seeking into a bit of a pain -- when you click an item to see a price, the wishlist border does not show up on the item image.

I know this event only lasts a short time so I certainly don't expect anything to change during this event. But in the future, it would be such a great improvement if someone could double check that the wishlist borders will appropriately show up on each food truck's page. For now I'll be opening a wishlist tab every hour so that I can more easily cross-check what I need, but it is slightly more hassle than other events with a shop interface (Lounge, Brewery, etc).

That said, I do love the menu boards! The art for them is lovely (extremely fitting for the food truck theme), and I wasn't around for the last Peka event so the menu boards rather than a storefront was an adorably pleasant surprise to me!

The boards are cute! I only have a grudge against the Grater Good, which only has two colours and last night, I thought that trunk only had three items, because all of the words in the same colour and so close together. All of the boards have division, different colours for different food colours, some sort of break up. Not the Grater Good though.

I can feel you about how trying to keep track of it all too. I've just been doing account searches or comparing to my inventory, since I haven't fed anything to my pet yet (I imagine I might run out of space before it's all over though).

Oh yes, that was another thing I wanted to mention but had forgotten all about it. Thank you for bringing it up! I remember seeing "Burger hotdog sandwich" and thinking that it sounded like an odd and excessively meaty sandwich. I was fairly amused by the idea after I realized it was three separate items!

I was doing the account search thing too for a while but it still felt like an unnecessary hassle compared to any other event. At least if I open my wishlist I can view them all at once while I buy (it probably helps that I like playing splitscreen and do it often).

I was picturing a full burger and hotdog in a sandwich. Evidently Hardees has already done it (a thickburger, a split hotdog and potato chips on a bun). Googling around makes it appear that a Burger King in Peru has also done it. Sounds pretty gross to me, but I'm not really a fan of hot dogs... still it would make an amusing menu item for that food truck in a future year ;)

Or even a future Genetech combo!

Ugh... yes, please make this work with wishlists somehow! It's a pain keeping up with which foods I've already fed to my Gourmand pet, or anything I might want for TCs.

Oh my gosh, yes! I would love for the items to have the wishlist and item hovers. It makes it so much easier to do an account search.

I'm glad that this is getting looked in to. The whole 'no border' thing is the reason I went through all those items and put them in the guide I typed up for this little event. Each truck has 9 items (unless I messed up) and I needed a better way to keep track what I've got and what I still have to buy.

Ugh yes, it's been so hard keeping track without wishlist borders. I've bought quite a few doubles even using SubetsLodge (partially due to the super duper ultra slow food decay rate too, bleh). Glad to hear it will be fixed!

Wow thank you so much for taking the time to look into it for us despite the fact that the event only goes on for a few more days! I noticed it pretty much immediately because I hadn't done previous years of this event and needed every item... but I assumed that it was somehow intended to not have the borders. I will definitely be sure to give you a ping in the future if I notice anything strange like this =)

it's not just that wishlist borders don't show up; the actual option to even add an item to your wishlist just isn't there. you have to actually search the item in a separate tab to add it to the wishlist. i thought it was such an oddly specific thing that it must have been intentional to make the event...more challenging? or something?

Yeah, that isn't something I intended at all! I didn't mess with the original set up from BoTB much (other than take off VIP and add the new trucks), so this was apparently how it was then. I think since BoTB, we've had a few different ways on the coding side to pull up images to make them hover/WL box/etc. I tried to see if I could do it quickly last night but it required a bit more research then my sleep-deprived mind could do haha. IT WILL BE FIXED BEFORE SUNDAY ;_;

Thanks for looking into this. I too thought it must be an "intended" issue so, said nothing about it. Just pulled up my wishlist side by side with the food trucks every 45 minutes.

Back in my early childhood there was this burger place near my house. One of the menu items was a "hot dog burger" that consisted of a burger bun and two split-down-the-middle hot dogs for meat content.

I loved it then. So YES, now I want one too.

On topic, I've kind of avoided the food trucks at the moment because clicking in and out is a big pain. They're so cute and fun but navigation is tricky, yeah. Didn't even get to the point where I noticed the wishlist issue!

The sandwich portion of a burger hotdog sandwich should definitely be a grilled cheese. It would just go so well with it!
