SO Im hoping to pay my loan off on my house this year by using money from a lawsuit. Still will have car payments, car insurance, electric bill, phone bill, debt due to a dead person, doctor bills that my insurance did not pay for,and groceries. 'i checked into food stamps they say I don't qualify.I get some stuff once a month from a local church but it's like 1 can corn,1 can green beans,1 box of cereal.got to watch the stuff I get cause sometimes it's expired.
I try and coupon but I don't even have a walmart in my town.Sonic got took out by a flood so honestly all that's left(food wise) is 2 grocery stores a dollar general and a dollar tree and a mcdonalds. both grocery stores are a bit pricey on things.
I use apps on my phone to earn gift cards for amazon and things.I can sometimes earn 10.00 a month that I can transfer to my pre paid card which is accepted at a few places. It's not a visa or MasterCard its a american express. It got 0 fee for using it online and 0 monthly fee.
SO far im living off caned tuna, eggs, canned corn, canned green beans, bottled water(I can get a pack on sale for less than 2.90)
I only have a electric skillet and a microwave to cook with.
I need a new washier,a electrician(2 rooms have no power for some reason so I got breaker turned off that goes to those rooms)
with all my bills im at a total loss.Paying the house off will save me 250.00 a month and my house cause im behind in payments if I miss one more I lose everything.
Ive cut out birthdays, holidays tv,dvds,movies,ect.. makeup, jewelry ice cream, cake, candy and other stuff.

Why paying for bottled water when the one coming from the sink is good? Save money and save the planet. Try to break down how much you pay for your things first and see where you can cut. It's a bit unrealistic to live under $1k a month with what you have to pay and what you want tbh.
My mom has to have special stuff cause her medical conditions. And tap water contains something she can't have. I live on disability so I have no choice on my income.Even with my moms income it's still less than 1,000 a month.
Only bright side I do product tests for stuff already on the markets so my cat eats free and her kitty litter is free. sometimes I might get a tube of toothpaste or something free to review.
right now I have 5 tubes of toothpaste and enough cat litter for 3 months.I have a facial peel on its way for me to review. I do get free samples when available.Like shampoo, deodorant, cat treats,ect.. red cross gave me some deodorant, toothbrushes, bar soap, wash cloth,pine-sole,sponges for doing dishes and dish soap after the flood oh and they gave me the tuna.

That's not what I'm asking. To be able to cut, you need to know your income from disability and your mother's if applicable. Then you calculate all your expenses. If you can also calculate your current food and utilities inventory, that would be helpful. Finally, google websites that has cheap recipes to eat on a budget. It's impossible to cut if you don't know your situation properly aside from saying "I don't have money".
well so far I know we in the negative each month with the bank.We haven't bought groceries in 3 months been living off whatever the church gives us and or the local bred shed(it's once a month but it's first come first serve.).other than the bottled water we buy 0 groceries. All money seems to be going to bills.Things will be changing after house is paid off.
You see my lawyer not exactly sure on how much im getting.I will get 2 separate checks most likely on 2 different days. One amount is for my pain and suffering the amount for this has been approved by my lawyer and the other side. The other is my reimbursement for doctor bills which is being negotiated.Lawyer said I might end up with a thousand on 2nd check.First check after lawyer takes there percentage will be enough to pay my house off im just waiting on it to arrive and clear my lawyers bank(cause he gets his percent then I get my money).
honestly im not sure what all the bills are cause my mom took out pay day loans.I know there is like a 2 thousand dollar cell phone bill of hers cause of late fees and other stuff.I also know sometimes bills can be negotiated down.
I know I need to make calls and see what all is owed to who and see if I can get them to go down on the payoff. First I got to see what Im going to have after house is paid off and I get the 2nd check.Im hoping the 2nd check will at least pay the car off.

When you refer to bills: What are these? What kind of expense do you have? I'm refering to electricity, internet, cellphone etc. What's the cost of these and can you cut somewhere? To save on electricity, unplug your utilities that are not needed (not the fridge please). You'll save money.
Moving onto the checks. Calculate their final marking once everyone has been paid up. You'll be able to proceed and pay your bills. You need to know how much you owe and how much you gain to be able to do anything from now on.
You can find ways to get extra money. Collecting the water bottles, soda cans, and stuff and getting money in return. I know if you shop online you can use Ebates.com to get cashback (I use it!) Babysitting/dog sitting (care.com) can earn you more money, some people pay $10-20 an hour!
Cleared by staff, oversized
There 0 places around me that you can turn recycle items to.Closet water bottle recycle place is 5 hours away and then there is the 5 hour drive back home..so yep I looked into that already.
shipping on most sites is like 5.99 or more.Which I could put in the gas tank to go to the store. So I only buy online when I have amazon gift cards and have enough to cover everything including the shipping.I do use a app on my phone to get some money back from doing this.
Sadly my health and my moms health keeps us very limited on what we can do.I had leg surgery and she has cancer so neither one of us has been leaving the house except for doctor and a few emergency room trips.
I use apps on my phone like rebate apps where you buy something and submit your receipt and get some money back.I also use apps where you watch videos and earn points to turn into giftcards such as a visa card.

What state do you live in? I'm surprised you wouldn't qualify for SNAP/FoodShare with only $1,000.00 per month in income.
I would double check with the office responsible for your food stamps / WIC. I would present them with all of your bills, information saying that you are the caretaker for your mother, and your income and see if they would reconsider. I find it odd that if you have an income of less than 1000 a month, they would deny you. I would also check into anything you can do as far as work from home - I know some people that do surveys from home, make phone calls ( kinda like telemarketing; its not great but its something?) With your amazon gift cards, can you buy nonperishable food in bulk? Things like ramen, or canned foods?
Im looking at another leg surgery..If someone on disability works they lose there disability.I do non paid product reviews I receive the products free and get paid nothing.Disability office said what I do is fine since its non paid and its non physical. NO I basically get like $10.00 amazon gift card once every 3-5 months.tIme you add shipping to items it really goes fast.I try and stay clear of amazon some items are overpriced and take months to arrive.
i basically get Walmart giftcards.
I also checked with disability office on the rebate apps I use they said they where fine and would not hurt my disability.Since I get less than 20.00 a month by using them and they can only be redeemed for giftcards and not cash. But you can request a prepaid visa then transfer that to a prepaid american express card.
My product reviewing is considered as a hobby(non paid) and since I do not do it very often do to my health it does not affect my disability.
Now if I where to do telemarketing that would cost me my disability.Plus I don't have the energy for it.As it is im thinking about getting a homemaker cause I can't even get around very good.I fell in the dresser cause of my leg being messed up.Im having to try and hire people to help with the care of my lawn so far found 0 people I could actually trust.
So far ive paid off a few medical bills.
Sad thing im not even 35 years old.

I understand how disability works, but if doing surveys online produces more income, would that be worth it - when you do have the energy? I would also put more effort into the apps that give you gift cards you can use right now. Cause to me, the amazon gift cards every 3/5 months for $10 doesn't seem worth it to me. The walmart gift cards and anything you can transfer to the prepaid Amex card does though. There was another thread I saw that mentioned the app called fiverr. I'm not sure if you use that one already, or not. But I would check it out - if you havent. Several people said they like it and use it and its very good. You could ask your neighbors for help as far as your lawn goes?
Youll be okay. Everyone hits rough patches sometimes. You just have to tough it out sometimes and do whatever you can to make it. Itll all work out
im not going to risk my disability. No ive never heard of that app. I have only 1 neighbor(a noisy gossip couple) other than the one who keeps trying to get me to sell my place to them which I will NOT ever do. My pup died last night someone broke in my house turned heat on to 100 degrees and killed her.(I was at the emergency room with my mom)
SO ya for me to find the bright side in anything right now is very hard.I just changed locks.Cops won't do nothing cause nothing was stolen.

I get that. I was just suggesting it because I figured whichever one produced more income for you would be the one you would lean towards. I did research on the fiverr app and its a freelance website. So im not sure if that helps. Im sorry to hear about your dog. Thats such a strange and horrible thing for someone to do to someone else. Im so sorry.
my disability provides me with medical insurance.Without it my doctor bills would be through the roof.Especially my leg surgeon and all the xrays and it covers my medical trip to the surgeon which is a 3 hour drive up and 3 hours back.I get a free ride to my surgeon and a free ride home cause my surgeon has me on his medical emergency list.He thinks I got bone fragments in my leg or a tear inside. So I got to have tests ran.
that app is for businesses from what im reading..Kinda like magiclinks website..Magiclinks to get paid you have to fill out and email them a w-9 form which is a tax form.
I don't really buy much of anything anymore and the rebate apps latley been things I don't buy like baby supplies or mascara or brands I don't like.

Okay. Then I understand that. Best thing it sounds like is just to try and find apps that give you items that you can use. Maybe see if you can sell the other items ?
In your first post, you mention that you have "debt due to a dead person". Depending on what this debt is, and if you've paid on it yet, you are NOT required to pay it. If it's debt that this deceased person accrued through a credit card company, loan shark, or any kind of financial institution then you are NOT responsible for it at all. If anyone has tried to convince you otherwise you can tell them to shove it. If, however, you've already paid towards it then you've technically claimed it as your own and you're kind of screwed.
As for food: rice, beans, and oats (old fashioned or rolled) are all quite healthful, filling, and fairly cheap when purchased in bulk. All of them can also be cooked in the microwave with just some water. Also, on the subject of water, I do understand that you can't use tap (neither can I, the tap at my house is contaminated) but your grocery stores may have a reverse osmosis water dispenser that they provide gallon jugs for that you can fill yourself. It still costs money, especially if you use the store's jugs, but it is incredibly cheaper than bottled. Even if they don't have this, the gallons of water vs the bottles of water are still a better price. Just make sure to double check the label to see if it's sourced municipally (tap water) or naturally. Distilled water is an option if you can stand the flavor.
I also agree with everyone who suggested retrying your local food stamps office. Someone must have messed something up if they believe that you don't qualify with as little income as you have.
Hopefully, things get better for you, I've been in a similar situation in the past and it was very difficult.
I unfortunately don't really have any advice, because I'm currently in a similar hole - disability benefit laws mean I'm doomed to be unable to do anything that could possibly net me more money or I'll lose them. I'm on an experimental treatment that's also not covered by my insurance, so I have to pay out of pocket, and that by itself eats up over half of my paltry income, not even counting my other medications/appointments/transportation to the appointments/food/etc.
I'm really lucky with my living situation--I live with able-bodied parents--but it's still demoralizing, exhausting and unfair.
My question is, are there any mental health services available to you? This is a tough situation, especially for the young and disabled, and I can't even begin to describe how helpful my therapist has been in helping me cope with living at the bottom of the barrel. I know it's not always possible, though; if you don't have access to anyone through your health insurance, there's also places like 7 cups of tea, which is free.
If you need it, your local library will almost definitely have computers with internet you can use with a card, and the card should be free. Your library may also have info somewhere about other community resources.
Best of luck. Try to remember it's not you; it's that the system as a whole is broken. You deserve better. You deserve to live comfortably. Everyone does, and I'm so sorry life is so hard for you right now. :(

I have to sign electronic contract stating I will not sell anything I receive free for reviewing purposes if I do sell anything I can be held legally responsible..Basically I could get in trouble for selling things I receive for reviewing purposes.
Ive never gotten anything free with a rebate app its like 0.25 cents off items and takes 20.00 to cash out and its only gift cards and most of the stores are no where near me.SO I usually get walmart cards.
the house was in there name and not paid off so it was either lose the house or pay the judgement off.(if your on disability and you have property in your name and you die the government can take your property (put a judgment on it)and sell it.There life insurance did not even cover a funeral..So if your on disability make sure someone else name is on the property.(Like the person you want to leave it to cause the government will try and take it if its in your name)
my local library is where the drug dealers hang out so I stay away from it.I pretty much only leave my house for medical reasons like doctor appointments or to go to store.
My neighbor across from me the gossip couple told me there house had been robbed and another lady 3 houses away had her back door kicked in while she was at work..cOps did nothing for anyone.so there all putting cameras up.

I'm sorry to hear that, I was hoping it was a less serious debt. I, unfortunately, don't have much more advice as it sounds like you're already making use of free food programs around you (church and food pantry?) but perhaps there's a Salvation Army near you or some other type of soup kitchen that does daily meals? Although if it's too far it may not be worth the gas.
