Hi everyone!

As mentioned in the Announcement Board in this post, it's time to nominate some champions!

As a group, you will be able to nominate up to 5 champions to put their name into the Goblet of Fire. Champions will need to participate in champion-specific challenges, which the majority of which will be roleplay challenges. You will be able to assist your champions during the challenges on coming up with their solutions, however they will need to execute the solutions themselves (i.e. the roleplay should be written and posted by your champions only).

Some things to consider when choosing champions:

• Champions, once decided, cannot be changed.
• Champions must be ACTIVE during the tournament. There will be challenges that will be champion-specific, so your champions will need to participate in order for your school to earn points.
• A majority of the champion-specific challenges will be roleplay based. So choose a strong roleplayer!

Champions are NOT required to take on the duties Prefects normally do. They are not required to maintain bulletin boards, contests, etc. However, if you are selected as champion and would like to take on those responsibilities, that is perfectly fine! Alternatively, if your school decides to appoint a member that is not a champion to lead the group, or if you choose to not have anyone lead, that is fine as well.

Nominations for champions must be made by July 5th at 11:59PM. You can ping me to the thread here once the decision has been made!

There will then be a Goblet of Fire ceremony on July 8th to announce the goblet's decisions on your school's 2 champions.

Who is interested in being nominated? I've never roleplayed before so I'm going to sit this one out and cheer from the benches with my book (like Hermione, except I won't scoff at you)

I'm not active enough to be a champion, but I'd totally try and help whoever is with the roleplay parts. I'm super good at that.

I'm gone too much to volunteer to be that active sadly, but am happy to offer what support I can!

I would like to volunteer.. but since I have little experience I don't know how good I'll be.. I'd need lots of support haha.. :D

I have a camping trip coming up, and countless other random things that keep me away. But man I wish I could. This is something that is taking over a regular term right? So it is a lengthy assignment, so to speak. joins with the water works

We don't have to have 5 so we can go with 2 or 3 if we don't have more people interested. Do you wanna still wanna put your name up for nomination? (just making sure as I've read your post as slightly unsure which could be a misread)

You know what.... After not being able to join in RP stuff last term, and with my transfer officially being given the green light, I'm gonna change my decision from a no to a yes, if that's OK. I'm very interested in participating in the RP aspect of the group as it's the only thing I haven't done so far.

If it's OK for me to change my mind, I wouldn't mind joining in on this. I will be getting my character up/finish sometime today.

I love RP'ing, but I haven't done it in ages because I haven't had the time (mainly because I write a minimum of 1500 words per post, which isn't conducive with also writing essays at the same time). As long as the tasks aren't extremely time-sensitive, I'd be willing to be a champion.
