So let's talk weather.

What's your favorite? Least favorite? Are you one who small talks about the weather? Do you enjoy this? Do you dislike this? Share your thoughts!

I love rainy and cold weather so basically any time people mention "it's lovely outside" I cringe inside because I want to disagree but can't because it will make things awkward and when it's at work I don't like making things awkward lmao so I just nod and agree, yessss it's lovely outside. xD I never try to bring up the weather because I find it kind of a boring subject to talk about lol unless it's severe weather then sure. :X

also true story : next page click is "The tempest wants to play with you." random event lmao xD

I can't stand small talk. It feels fake, it's a waste of time, and it makes me very anxious. If someone asks "how's the weather" in an attempt to talk, I tend to say "it's fine/hot/cold" and try to get away from the person.

As for what weather I like, I love cool, cloudy, windy days. I also love the rain, except when I have to drive in it. I hate the sun, high humidity, and heat.

My favorite weather is storm and heavy rain with cool temperatures. I also love winter sun a lot. Weather I hate is fog, high humidity and when it's too warm.

For weather small-talk, it really depends on the day. If it's a really nice day outside or if it's unusually rainy, then yea I'll tend to talk about it. Granted, I did have a summer job for the last six years. Weather had a big impact on whether or not my shift would get cancelled soooo I suppose it does make me talk about the weather kind of often?

Truthfully it feels easier to discuss weather that I don't like, haha. I'm a light sleeper, so unfortunately thunderstorms keep me up at night rather than help me sleep. I also don't like driving in the rain. Oh, but I hate everything about snow. I dislike being cooped in the house, it ruining my plans, shoveling the driveway, and especially driving in it. But summer isn't much better for me because of humidity. Aaaand I really attract mosquitoes. I can honestly get upwards to 20 bug bites in one evening and I was always doomed if I forgot to lather up in bug spray before a work shift during my summer job.

BASICALLY I like spring and fall, especially fall. Temperatures of mid-70's are my cup of tea.

I'm bad at small talk so I appreciate when people talk about the weather so I don't feel like a huge idiot, haha. I can do that!

Right now it's been cloudy/cold-ish forever so just seeing the sun would be nice. Just one or two times. Maybe three? :( Bad job, summer.

Although my least favourite kind of weather is definitely scalding hot heat garbage. The kind where you start getting weird things like knee sweat.

SAME I really hate small talk anyway but sometimes people come in at work and just want to chit chat (which is especially annoying when I'm already busy) but I despise when people say oh look how nice it is. I'm prone to headaches and I get really bad headaches all summer long from the heat and the sunshine and my mood suffers considerably. It's supposed to be cool and rainy this week which is just so nice imo and I just bought a gigantic new umbrella too @ _ @

But I'm still counting down the days to autumn, I LOVE autumn and winter, the only thing I get sick of is all the old people bitching about the cold and/or snow. Why do you live in a state that gets winter if you hate it so much you cranky old bag (side note: I'm not trying to be a bitch this is 100% directed at the specific old people I know lmfao)

I like cold seasons, but I can appreciate storms. I find thunder to be the most relaxing thing during a sleepless night.

Its now been 100 or so the last week, and with it comes the use of A/C. To me its like thermal shock every time I go inside or come out.

I don't know what to do about small talk, I'm fine if its about random stuff. But if you mention my eyes, the conversation is OVER.

My mom does express emotion, however I have anxiety disorders and am heavily expressive, when I start to express emotion when texting my mom -- she QUICKLY changes the topic to the weather. Like, I'll say, "I had an anxiety attack in the store today when some loud teenagers were behind me and now I've been going in and out of crying because I'm so embarrassed." And she'll reply with, "Been rainy here today in the 70s going to get sun later."

I hate weather talk. HATE. IT.

I'm having a treat today. I get to scour out the rind of a watermelon. Not too sweet, and far more crunchy. It's been chilled overnight, so it kind hurts my teeth. Sucks that I ran out of chile seasoning.

It's been quite hot here lately and lacking ac isn't terribly fun. My favorite weather is practically anything overcast, fog or thunderstorms are the best. I'm fine with weather small talk since I'm not a good conversationalist and it's about all I can handle, getting very deep into any non-small talk topic is draining.
