[small]Well, not sure whether this is the right place?
I wanted some clarification for some CWs I previously released as part of an event. The batch limit has already been set. But it's the cost that I'm worried about and wanted clarification. So the cost for it, when it was first released, was listed at 600 CSC but since that event is already long over, is it logical/appropriate for me to increase the cost slightly because it was an event exclusive or is that considered scamming? I have an extra from the event and don't know how much to sell that extra for.
I've also read that if there were any batch extras we could probably redistribute at submitter's discretion, but I don't think that was ever stated in the event that I released it in though.
If my thought isn't really in logical order, sorry. I'm typing it in a rush.[/small]
My original questions
Jessi's response
If You've forgotten your CW batch info for CWs you've released
: Finally found time to screenshot it...
I think your best bet would be to ask via ticket about this, get an official staff member to answer you. :s I don't even want to advise on this because I wouldn't be sure what to tell you! :c Good luck!
It would be very dependent upon how you advertised the item initially.
If you said "this item is an event exclusive, you must participate to get it" and didn't specify that you could do what you wished with any spare copies you might end up with, you likely cannot sell it (especially not for more than slot) to someone who didn't participate in the event and meet whatever qualifications you set up.
If you said "I reserve the right to distribute any extra/spare copies however I wish" then you're fine and you can do what you want with the item.
I would definitely still file a ticket and request it be assigned to though - especially if you cannot remember what you said in your initial release post.
: Thanks for replying! I'll go and file a ticket to see what Jessi says. If interested, I could post her answer (screenshot) here?
No problem :) And please do let us know!
: I'm still asking in the ticket, just letting you know I haven't forgotten this thread. :)
You cannot as far as I know put the price higher than the original price as people will start to complain about it,and accuse you of scamming
Just to address the price thing - you can adjust the prices on cws up and down. There's nothing that says that you can't state that the price has been changed (so long as you tell people and don't just add them to a slot at a higher price without notice).
It happens often that people miscalculate slot costs.
Thanks for the letting me know on that was not too sure whether she could do better to be safe than sorry later.
If she asks an admin she will keep herself right
Yeah, it's always better to be safe than sorry, but in general, as long as you're open and honest on the thread and not trying to change stated batch limits (unless it's to drop them lower), then it's fine.
: Well, the items were released during an event so which was why I wondering whether I could increase the prices if it could go up slightly since the event has long been finished.
: Thanks! :)
I was sure I read about something like that on here somewhere and did not want you to be accused of something like that,Sorry if I offended you.
