So, since a few people said separate posts would be more helpful, I'm starting a separate one here for our costume discussion. :)

If we do want to have a common item, does anyone have any suggestions? Some of my personal favorites are: Any of the Masquerade Belt items, Belt Vest items, Time Flies Cuff items, the Buttoned Half Jacket items, Belted... Leather Armor items, or one of the vehicles (Menagerie 2016 items, like the Ziara City Coupe, Coda Caves Race Car, etc.). I feel, too, like most of those items are fairly versatile for male/female characters, and different types of characters, especially if we pick a basic color like bronze, pewter, black, etc.

We could also consider using a common background or background item, to make us look more like a team. If we did that, it might be cool if we could tie the item into our story, like if it is our main source of transportation, or if it is a room we can magically transport with us, that we use as our meeting room, or if it's an item specific to our name (such as a library, a book, or a squirrel item)...

What items would we use for the Tri-Hedgewitch Tournament?

I think the Tri-Hedgewitch Tournament is the hinky-pink and the news article? I'm so lost tbh. I think I need to re-read everything...

5 The Tri-Witch thing is the article/titles, but it shares a deadline with the HA part. :)

Okay, so it sounds like most people are game to share a background, possibly one of the Wayward Squirrel, and maybe all of us should include the Pewter Time Flies Cuff as well. :) Then let's plan to do that.

Any preferences on which of those two backgrounds we should use? And then everyone should try to get their Steampunk outfit, with the time cuff and the background we choose up here as soon as possible, since we are starting to run short on time now. :/

Since I may not be on a lot I went ahead and saved both versions of the HA - whichever background is the more popular choice can be used. I also picked out my companion animal since most users seem to have one and there's been companion based puzzles in the past. ^^

Good plan. :) I have quite a bit of work to get done today, but I steamed up my person a bit (and I figure my character will probably just keep a derivative of Raine as her name... Easy to track, and besides, that's my personna like... everywhere... And since I'm not particularly familiar with roleplaying and all, there's no sense in making it too complicated. :P)

I will work on my HA tomorrow night and figure out how to post it. I had a friend always post mine before and I'm not that familiar with how to do it on this Mac.

It's super easy, actually. You can create the outfit right here on subeta. If you want to use items you don't actually own, all you have to do is go to the filter options, and go under "show all" and change "your wardrobe" to "all subeta items".

Then, you make your outfit, and you click "save" (not wear... You have to own everything to wear it, but you don't have to own everything to save the outfit).

Then, go up to the top of your wardrobe and click "outfits".

When you see the outfits load, find the one you want to share. Below it, you'll see some naming options, description stuff, the option to wear it, and the option to delete it. None of those matter... The bottom thing in the box is a piece of code. It will look like this:

All you do is take that whole piece, brackets, the word outfit, the numbers, that whole bit. Copy and paste it into your post, and the outfit will appear. :)

I'm going to go with Anna for my character name. I'm going to go with Midnight for my companion name.

As far as I know, we can use any class we like so it's okay if there's more than one person with the same class? At least that is what I assume..? I chose class D (Bard/Troubador) and my companion is a hedgehog. I saw a recent post by Greenrowan that our companions aren't necessary for out steampunk outfit and I don't think weapons would be required right now if it's supposed to be formal :) I think it was decided we are all wearing a for a matching look and either of these backgrounds: I made an HA using both backgrounds so whichever is the most popular can be used. Hope I've been helpful in some way... I've gotten a bit confused by everything.

There is a lot going on in your first HA, but it is also the one with the most steampunk accessories, and they did suggest this should be our finery, so I think it's probably just fine. :)

And also, everyone... Do any of you prefer the one background over the other, or should we just make our team captain (whoever we elect) make the choice themself when they post?

Also, whoever does wind up posting it... Since everyone has editing rights, anyone should be able to copy and post the bits from my first post. :)

sorry guys for being out of communication, hectic work schedule and no internet due to truant rains.

Oh dear... Do you think it'll continue to be a problem? We still need your outfits before we can post tomorrow. And also, we still need to get our story written... Will you be able to captain the team? I mean... They said that only the captain and co-captain are supposed to post our answers (though we've gotten permission to have someone else post tomorrow, in case you were still missing...). I mean, if you're sure you'll be around, then awesome. But if you think you're going to continue to have troubles... I dunno... Would you rather give the position to someone else, or do you want to stay captain?

Between the two backgrounds I think I personally prefer the outdoor one in this situation because it shows off the outfits better... but it probably can be up to whoever posts them. :)
