A few years ago I discovered an item called Light Defense Moonstone Crystal. There were others like it but I forgot their names. Sometimes the image shows up, usually it doesn't. That's not the issue though. What I want to know is if it and the rest were ever meant to be released. They don't seem to actually exist.
SubetaLodge has it listed as a Rarity 300/Staff Item.
This item is either unobtainable or can&;t be stocked in user shops/galleries.

Staff items tend to be items that haven't been released for whatever reason, or sometimes they're items that are used by NPCs like battle opponents.
I'm not sure exactly why the other crystals haven't been released, but yeah they're not obtainable by regular users.
I don't work in Battle, but yeah, probably a battle item used by an opponent. :)
- They were meant to be released alongside the Tear and Baguette Crystal weapon mods, but I think the battle admins decided they would be too overpowered and scrapped them before release.
And yes, there were a LOT OF THEM
