I miss writing. I've done collaborative RPing for years and years and I'm ready to hop back in again to a story with someone.

Stuff About Me: ~~ I'm 31. I do not need a partner my age, but if you wanna romance story line, you gotta be at least 18. Please don't make it weird. ~~ I'm a new mom. This equals irregularity in my replies. You may got a lot in a day depending on the length of responses, or a few a month.

Stuff About My Writing: ~~ I would appreciate spell check and use of paragraphs/punctuation. Aside from that, you're probably golden. ~~ I want to write with someone who feels comfortable letting me write with their character a bit after we've gotten into the story. Same with my character - just small things like gestures or expressions to keep the post lengths going for awhile. ~~ I write from a few sentences to over a page, but I like longer posts in general, like 1-3 paragraphs. ~~ Looking for an original world but willing to do some in established worlds with original characters (HP, the Rook, etc. Try me.) ~~ I generally write exclusively female characters as my mains. I don't mind floating one or two more, but I'm not confidant in my male/non-gender characters.

I want a robust story. Something with heart tugging moments, lots of humor, real characters with faults and feelings, skills they suck at, etc. My character won't be perfect. She also won't be overly antagonistic. There needs to be some chemistry between characters to keep a story going. If you are going to write someone who hates the world and wants to be alone, our story will fizzle out.

Hello! First off congratulations on your baby. I'm sure that's been wonderful.

Second off, I'm looking for a role-play too and can be inconsistent in replying. I have a very irregular job and I'm getting married this week, so things have been rather busy. I'm will to work with you on that. :] I'm down for all of your writing aspects. I haven't done a lot of writing where someone else uses my character, but I'm willing to give it a go.

As far as stories go, I'm interested in world building. I love doing that. Do you have a particular genre that you enjoy? I think something medieval would be a good place to world build or maybe something sci-fi- related, but I'm down for anything. I'm completely fine playing a male character as well and enjoy drama and angst and the like. They're what make a role-play a role-play after all.

Hurrah, I did not expect a reply so quickly given the relative lack of RPers in Subeta in general. Congrats on the wedding! Been there, done that, so I'm sure you've got a lot on your plate right now.

I don't mind medieval if you don't mind throwing some fantastical elements in there? Whether it's practiced magic or a fantastical element to the world (fairies, or living waters, or something), I find it makes world building a little more interesting. Also up for sci-fi. I tend to avoid too many types of non-human species because it gets too much into details and I want a story I can wrote plot for rather just get stuck in the details.

Do you have any ideas of what you'd like to see, also in terms of pairings? Two random people meet up on a job, or compete for a position, or perhaps an apprentice situation or guard situation? I'll likely play a character in her mid to late 20's (yee, gads, I feed old just typing that), but could go younger based on our pairing start off.

Yeah, there really aren't anymore role-players around here, but I've been scanning this forum for ages waiting for someone to role-play with. I liked the way you sounded so I thought I'd just see if you'd be interested too. :] Oh I definitely do, but role-playing gives me some escape from the stress. Also thank you for the gifts! Oh we can definitely have some fantastical elements. I love medieval fantasy. It's my favorite genre to role-play in fact. :] Magic or fantasy creatures works for me. We can even have both if you'd like. I think maybe we should just stick with medieval fantasy then. I'd rather not get caught up in details.

I love the idea of a guard situation. Like maybe your woman is a princess he's supposed to guard. I'm think I'll play a man in his 20's as well probably around 25. I'm thinking he's either a seasoned warrior or a newbie assigned to protect her. What do you think?

Writing is a great escape for stress, but only when I'm doing it with someone else I find. Too much pressure if I try to write on my own. And you're very welcome.

I love guard stories too. Rather than a princess, could it potentially be a sort of priestess or ambassador scenario? I'll make my lady's age match yours. Seasoned or newbie is no biggie, but it might be fun if both our characters are newbies on what should have been a regular sort of peace exchange and get caught up in someone trying to start a war?

I really only like writing to escape when it's other people too. Writing alone stressed me out more. xD

We can definitely do a priestess or ambassador. It's your character after all. I'm just here to be your guard. haha! Oh! I like the idea of them being newbies. It'll be a learning situation for the both of them which will cause conflict cause one might want one thing while the other wants another. Okay. Do we want a war between races/species or a rising up of the lower class against the upper class?

Also you have a preference where you role-play? I like email, but I'm down to try anything new too.

I like the idea of a class war, starting in the country our characters are traveling through/in and then spilling back into ours. Does that sound good to you? Maybe start the start the story with our characters having hit up a couple of cities in the other country and are a few days or a week or so out from the capital?

I don't mind doing email eventually, but I use a separate email account from my main for RPing and that's hard to check on my phone and at work (only so many private browser windows I can open). Would you be amenable to having a thread here on Subeta to start? It's easier for me to check on a daily basis.

Okay. Class war it is. That sounds good to me. What are our characters traveling for? If you're going to be an ambassador likely for peace talks, but if you're going to be a priestess, what will we be traveling for there? To spread the word of God? I like the idea of them getting caught up in the war and maybe your character being sort of a spokesperson for the commonwealth. What do you think? Maybe my character convinces her to be the bridge between the poor and the rich in order to stop this conflict? Especially since it's starting to move into our country. :]

Unfortunately, we con't do private forum threads for one on one roleplays. They're only for group roleplays or searching or planning. So we either have to use sMail or email. :/

Eh, really? D: Dislike dislike. I had no idea, those rules really should be updated, it's been 6 years and these forums are generally d-e-d. I wonder if that's something to bring up with the admins? Lemme think about the email thing... emails just so much harder for me to keep up with. That's how my last RP 2 years ago finally just died, I never remembered to check for updates.

With the new baby, I think I can really only juggle one for now - if I feel like I'm in a place to juggle two later, mind if I comment you later? I've never done F/F but willing to try everything once.

Yeah, it's been a rule ever since I've joined. I think it could use an update too. Just because there are so many people that don't role-play in groups and usually just stick to one on one's. It'd be nice to have another place to role-play. :]
