I was wondering can you own more shops/galleries than just the 4? And if so how do you go about getting more? Thanks.

I think if you have a gold account you can have a few more, but other than that no. Shops were limited to cut down on some of the site lag, that's why there are also limits to how many items you can have in a shop or gallery now.
