^^^ It's all in the title. A year or so ago before my hiatus, I remember seeing a multitude of styles, some more cel shaded, some gradient shaded and some pushing more a painterly style... and some even breaking the lineless rule.../ kinda. But either way they all got accepted.

But I'm seeing less and less variation of styles now and wondered if that's because the rules have since been tightened to only accept the soft cel shaded style for subeta??

I wanted to try and make a wig for one of my OCs and drew this up a few weeks ago before just sitting on it...lol like just about every single cw I draw :l

So yeah lemme know your opinions/ any experiences you've had.

And thank you in advance to anyone that reads/ answers ;u;

I think this style would be fairly acceptable, with alterations. The lineart is too thin, and would have to be thickened to a more uniform size, especially around the outer edges. It's also lacking a good bit of directional shading (aka, the light source would be considered vague). The light source for subeta items should be in the top left, making the shadows darker going toward the right hand side and bottom of the wig.

I can't really help with the questions you're having, but the hair looks good :) You could try posting on this thread and some of the artists might be able to help when they have time? I know a few of them regularly check it out when they have a little time to help with advice/tips/etc :)

Wouldst thou like to live deliciously?
